@@GinKendou then get fragile strenght it buffs your nail dmg, but if you die while equipping it, the charm breaks and to fix you gotta go back to leg eater and pay some geo, with that being said you can upgrade the charm to be unbreakable but ill leave that out, all i can say is explore and interact with npcs
you did not unlock the alternate ending, you need to explore some other areas that you couldnt access because you didnt have shade cloak, and THEN go back to get the alternate ending stuff
Some pointers for getting the other ending/endings. Now that you have shade cloak go to the queen's gardens (west of greenpath) Collect more essence to upgrade your dream nail. The best way to do this is by fighting dream bosses as they give a ton of essence. You could start by fighting the dream boss for false knight. You will have to dream nail that one knight in the ancient basin and do some really easy platforming that shouldn't be challenging at all. After all of that you must return to the void and face your past.
@@minizeequeen711 I’d recommend with tips on videos like this to try and keep specific details on what to do to a minimum, generally people want to try to explore and find stuff on their own. IMO you should probably be just specific enough with advice that it puts them on the right track to find out but vague enough that it doesn’t completely remove the need to explore a bit for themselves in order to decipher what you’re saying
Your new dash allows you to go through the black pillars that were blocking your way before, so there's quite a bit more for you to explore now. I recommend looking at the markers you placed and going back to them
Don’t you dare think for even a moment that you’re already done with the game :D there’s a lot more to do for you (we want to see you do) in the game. Just a couple things (most likely missing a couple things): - optional areas such as The Hive & Queen’s Gardens - Colosseum (&behind) - Upgrade Weapon to max & collect all fragments, Charms, Grubs (Flower quest), nail arts - Zote, Mr. Mushroom & alternate endings - White Palace & Path of Pain (!!!) - Dream Bosses
So disappointed yt didn't recommend me so many of the other videos after the first few- but glad I'm here for this. Essence is key for the other endings :)
congratulations, ginken, you finally beat this game. and with that, we're both around the same pace again. you haven't explored with shade cloak while i haven't fought grimm yet. im looking forward to the other endings
Max completion percentage is 112% indeed, but worth noting is that not everything gives percentages points. There are a number of things, both minor and major, that don't contribute even a single percentage to that count. Two of the game's hardest challenges, Pantheon 5 and Path of Pain, both don't actually give a completion percentage. That being said, 112% is still not easy to achieve and many people end up getting gatekept at 111% by one boss in particular, which I'll refer to as PV. PV is actually my favorite boss in the game, but it is certainly a challenge. I'd like to see you eventually complete it, because I think the boss (and a couple special bosses you can only access after beating it) are worth it, though. To unlock the other endings you'll need 2 items, one can be found behind one of those black gates you now can pass, the other requires completing all but 1 of the Seer's essence milestones (though I'd recommend completing the final one too). Once you have those 2 items you'll then gain access to a special location, where you'll get my favorite moment in the whole game and the item that unlocks 2 more endings and locks you out of the one you just got. There are 2 more endings as well, but those require completing pantheon 5 in godhome, which is easily the hardest challenge in the game, so most players never get them.

I feel like the music should be a little louder, especially for boss fights like these. It's very quiet, practically inaudible. Takes away from the fight.
I just lost a 5h Steel Soul (Deathless) run to a random vine in Greenpath I do not recommend Steel Soul unless you have an incredible patience, because I’ve had to do the same 5h of gameplay several times
Use shade dash in queeens garden , u will find a new boss and new untold story of the QUEEN OF HOLLOWNEST , this is will help in game completion. Theres a secret area in royal waterways , which unlocks a new DLC , u can try that too. Or go around to collect 1600 dream nail essence to open up ANOTHER NEW AREA of ANCIENT HOLLOWNEST.
I feel like it's much easier to just equip all the charms that give you blue health, not much risk of taking damage from the bench compared to going around the map to collect them
