Back on old Route 66 in California at the greatest Ghost Town in the West, Calico Ghost Town between Las Vegas and Los Angeles. Tonight, my friend Ernie from HauntedOC.com had a "ghost tour" event planned, and while I couldn't film that, I decided to beat the traffic and head out to the desert early so we could kill some time together in the old west.
Normally this place is a tourist mecca, jammed with people from tour busses traveling to las vegas, but today for whatever reason Calico has been abandoned by the tourist traffic and become a ghost town once again. Visit the old Cemetery and walk the streets that toe the line between historic town and 1950's route 66 tourist trap
