My helper stays in Gugulethu they have already attempted. When she comes to work she has to ask her son to take her to the bus stop and wait with her until the bus arrives. What is happening in CT is bad!
What I find strange is a community of 2 million people scared of a group of less than 500. And worst part thru know who these people are and where they live and who their family members are. South africa has become a joke rewind 15 years back and those gangsters would have been set alight by the end of the year😂
Yoh I feel that mother's pain I'm so sorry for your loss mum 😢 I'm from Manenberg and we all know too many mothers who lost a child to violence here in Cape Town 💔
I wanted to open a business there and my gf immediately said to me ( NO) i do not want to be a widow. This people that commit this crimes dont even own anything, they drink up all the money immediately after the crime is committed. Its so bad that they have now targeted even uber drivers whereby they need to pay extortion money. Theres a need for soldiers in KhayeliExtortion.
This country has become lawless some of our people is even scared to go to work everyday or leave their house the crime in this country is a serious issue and needs to be addressed pronto our country is doomed criminals is running free.
I am from Cameroon and I studied in Capetown.I have gone to Khaylitsha, gugs, Nyanga and other other township.I can tell you i always felt safe even going at night to drink,But, i use to hear all these stories in the townships and the danger.I can conveniently tell you the crimes is a direct correlation of drugs consumption.
@RicardoDimeku I once watched this other documentary on Facebook that shows that apparently Mexico is the home of this type of activity. Extortion is bad, even some women are hitman for those gangs that are extorting people.
This country is a neoliberal hellhole such policies and hardline approach will never be adopted here. To say the least things are about to get much worse lol😂🚮
What makes me cross is we can strike for nonsense but for issues like this we do nothing let's stand together as a country and boycott this government let's stay at home for a week and see what happens.
true. It started from the taxi industry, which created a culture of intimidation and lawlessness and it became a breathing ground for other useless individuals to target the vulnerable law-abiding citizens.
What's the DA doing? It compaigned behind increased policing in Khayelitsha. Was it all a facade? You'd swear that Khayelitsha is not part of "Western Cape" that is so dear to the DA.
@realtyrone He is not really blaming the DA but questioning why hasn't the DA done something to end this extortion problem since they are in charge of Western Cape. DA did promise to increase policing in the khayelitsha during their campaign till now they haven't fulfilled their promise
@@Fury_boy You need an overhaul of the constitution that would then allow you to take control of the police. That has not been possible so far because the ANC has been in charge. The problem here is an inefficient and understaffed police force, along with a constitution that is not tough on criminals.
@rickmorty7284 Deliberately understaffed police force to allow this corruption so that top brass can rake in millions. Then they come along as saviours and get votes and that's how the corrupt stay in power. So sad that people in this very society do not have the individual strength to stand up against these thugs. Makes a person just as guilty of the crimes being committed if they don't do something about it. People are afraid of death if they expose the wrongdoers. What does it tell you about our laws. Criminals have more rights than normal citizens because the ANC is full of Criminals and that is how they keep getting away with their blatant corruption.
The police that the DA deploy in these areas cannot investigate the crimes. SAPS has to do the investigations. I have seen instances where the AGU arrest gangsters and then SAPS don't want to open a docket, they let them go. So the DA can only do so much, National government is sit on their hands, doing nothing.
Julius Malema was on point with some things and I miss judged him, there is absolutely no way foreigners are committing this crimes in Western Cape. This crimes are committed by the South African Government and the people of South Africa.
This is why I just couldn't live in Cape Town anymore. I used to live in an affluent neighborhood but my extended family lived in the location. I just couldn't take it because human life has no value there.
RIP Enzo. This is so heartbreaking. Township extortion should be a top priority in SAPS investigations, and, because of its lucrative status, maybe the HAWKS should be involved. This is not ok. It should NEVER be ok.
Who do you blame for the Killings in Khayelitsha ?........The South African Government of course, crime and corruption is out of control and will remain out of control if we continue to vote for leaders that cannot do their jobs properly.
I am no fan of Bheki Cele, but lets stop blaming government here, we people have become like animals. There is no humanity or values left. Stop this filthy, greedy crimnal behavior 🙏😡
Guys please come to KZN , in Durban its far worse ,if you have tenants in your yard you pay, motorcycle delivery guys also pay I meam everyone.... From richardsbay to Durban to PMB all the way to Newcastle and its getting worse everyday
@@Carlosbnker I never said all of Durban, this doesnt happen in the whole of CapeTown....but its happeningin the southern townships Umlazi, kwamakhutha ,Lovu etc...and also in the north in inanda and kwamashu surroundings
I and a group of friends wanted to invest in the city but the fear of being attacked has discouraged myself and the group of friends who really want to invest and create jobs in the local market 😢
@@ProfSMS agreed, but the military was run by the ANC, SAPS was run by Bheki Cele. Their aim was to let Cape Town go down the toilet. Coloureds experience the same
Question: My advise will be to find out how did El Salvador sort out there crime problems. Carte Blanche can you maybe do a interview with President Nayib Bukele from El Salvador? Listen to interview - Tucker Carlson & President Nayib Bukele.....
@@TBang25 The ANC might not dominate the political landscape of the WC, but they are thoroughly in control of policing from the ground up...Minister, Deputy Minister, Secretary, National Commissioner...all the way down to Provincial Commissioners are all ANC...I'm old enough to remember a time when even the colored and black areas were safe. And I recall seeing the country being handed over to the ANC...and where we are now.
Since dudula has started removing Somalian spaza its coming to Joburg because those Somalians were paying that protection fee a local guy is going to refuse then this is going to follow suit... these problem ain't going to end
