Killington, VT - ◊◊ Julio 🌲 (3-27-23) [4K] 

One of my favorite Double Diamond trails at Killington! Julio was my 4th Double Diamond trail I did there, first back in 2021. I've been looking to hit it again but it's one of the most elusive trails on the mountain, which I've rarely seen open outside of the small window from late-February to mid-March. Today was one of those lucky days!
Advice: General glade rules apply (don’t wear your pole straps, go slow, etc). Like Anarchy and Juanita, the top will be more densely forested but with a more mellow pitch; the bottom drops off but has less tree cover.
If you're sticking to the main trail (the most widened way down) there will be that nasty cliff near the bottom. I'd recommend going to the sides because snow cover will often be thin on the rocky cliffs.

Open Trail Index: 1/10 (Pretty much the last trail to open, like actually)
