I was watching Top 30 guitar riffs of the 2000s, and this one was there. This happens so rarely, where a riff catches me from the very first listening. Its amazing phrasing captivated me. So I am here now, watching the original. Trully a classic of RU-vid's independent homemade music. Wishing you and your family all the best, man!

Still holding out for the comeback. Been a sub for 9 years. Sad to see almost all of his videos have been struck down by ContentID since he's been gone. Eventually they will all be gone, except Arrival and The Rising. Only we will remember that harsh (but still awesome) sound on Like Light to the Flies. The best cover of that song ever made, and what did KillrBuckeye do? Apologize for using a different setup and it sounding "harsh" in the description. We will always remember. You are a complete legend, sir, and we miss you.

I watched this guy's videos as a 12 y.o. metalhead kid almost 10 years ago and the only instrument I could play (poorly) back there was piano. In 2011 my dad passed away and I became depressed. So I bought a guitar to help myself in focusing on anything else than sadness and hate, started looking for some inspirations and remembered his videos. I don't know he actually had a part in it, but I'm thankful. I hope you're well and having a very happy life, sir. I'll be subscribed to your channel forever. Just in case. :)

I was 15 yo when I first heard this song. I’m now 29 and this piece is in my DNA. I catch myself humming it when I work, when I mow the lawn, when I am driving down the road. I started playing guitar almost twenty years ago now. I was 13 years old and your guitar covers were some of the most perfect and inspiring I have seen right up to this very day. This guy was a huge inspiration when I started playing. I've become a better guitar player than I ever was and I don't think there's been a year (or at least a month) that I didn't revisit this video since the first time I've seen this. Kept coming back for nostalgia as everything about this guy's channel is a reminder of how bad I wanted to learn playing and revisiting all of his old videos takes me back to my teenage days.
