I love your mug combos!! Thanks for sharing. When you say cone 6 with 6 min hold do you slowly cool to a certain temp? I’ve been having issue with pinholes, yours look gorgeous!
Many times pin holes come from the bisque not being fired hot enough and or long enough. Be sure to not fire too fast. The bisque firing gets all of the chemicals out of the clay and if you don’t do it correctly in the bisque firing they will come out in the glaze firing.
Lovely! I enjoy your combinations ( I tried to guess them before you told us) and thank you for demonstrating the before and after mugs! Isn’t it always delightful when you open your kiln? It’s like Christmas every time. Too bad about the Mayco Purple planters ( although they did turn out pretty neat, really). I get disappointed occasionally and refire to improve results. I loved your witness cones - very consistent! 👏👏👏
