I bet frosted lemon/amaryllis would look nice on white clay probably! Some stuff is just different on speckled buff. I'm an indigo float fan for sure! Love your desert dusk pieces i dont have that one!
I adore your light fixture! I love architecture and it’s perfect. Also, your tea pot is so well made and the glaze looks perfect. I, too, love your desert dusk combo, and I hope the pinging stops. You are doing great 👏 I’ve had a lot of pinging and crazing with a certain clay body. It’s maddening.
@rebeccatodd414 Thank you Rebecca 😊, everything stopped pinging only that one peppered plum/desert dusk combo mug is still randomly singing.....it is maddening 😅 but I don't give up 💪- they all survived the hot water test. Is there any other way to test if they are ok?

More excellent results, great work! I love the teapot--not just a lid, but a locking lid! I'd like to see more of your building process--how you shape the twisted handles and make the texture patterns, for example. The light fixture must have been very interesting to assemble. How many different types of clay bodies do you work with?
@briancurtis6022 Thank you 😬, I have 5 different clay body's and re-work mixed clay body's....all accumulated over the past 2 1/2 years. I love to work with standard 266 but Kentucky mudworks big turtle is the most beautiful clay from those 5 I have... I looked if I had any footage of my assembly of the night lamp, the little I had I made 5min ago a youtube short video😅. I will definitely make a video about making the handles or maybe from start to finish - how I make a mug🤔 with glazing and firing 🔥
@roadmap5351 of course, it's a olympic medallion kiln HE2318 23 inch wide and 18 inch high, 3 inch brick. And I ordered mine from theceramicshop.com - at the time I was looking for a kiln that size, they had the best price but it been a while so price check as many websites as possible 🤗
