If I wanted to live somewhere quiet, and won't mind I am a bit outside of everything, I sure would not choose Sentosa. Not even if the properties there had "normal" prices tags. Then I would want to look at nature, clean, and not too many people around me. Pulau Ubin, or eventually some of the real outskirt places of Singapore.
Aiyoh Kim Huat I thought you were going to tell us about the Sentosa cove auction of the land that was confiscated from the money laundering syndicate...
The god forsaken location is considered a plus point for rich ex-criminals/evil characters who escape from the law enforcement of foreign countries - to hide away inside SG.
Luckily we don't know what bungalows or private properties our VIPs stay in. Else we feel they do things for their property boom self interest. Grow at more cost
Kim you cannot afford not Heng that you cannot afford. My wife birth certificate is born in Palau Belakang Mati. Today Sentosa is ATAs property even can have 4 seasons rooms. Whoa. Sentosa should thank and contributed to all those who have given them the privilege of residing there 55 years ago. Please remember the Palau Belakang Mati residences who have to evacuated for redevelopment. Singapore does not have heritage anymore. Gone are the days of travelling by boats to mainland Singapore to attend schools. Gone are the good old days. Gone and forgotten.
Can afford to buy those properties and live in Sentosa Cove. No worries, wealthy enough to afford any transport to and from there. Wealthy islander private paradise with private yacht. So what's the issue leh. Happy can already. HDB is also not bad. A house is not a home. Understand bo?
That’s a stellar setup! I’m actually in the middle of deciding whether to go with the Sonos Five or the Sonos Era 300 for the rear speakers in my home theater. Given your positive experience with the Five, do you think it’s the best choice for that role, or does the Era 300 offer something extra that might be worth considering?
@@sglatitude Oh, please go with the Era 300s. They are newer and have Atmos support. With the Arc, two Era 300s and two Subs, you can go up to 7:2:4 Atmos. Even if you don’t have two subs, just one, a 7:1:4 setup is already lovely. The Arc will take care of the front Left, Centre and Right, and Front Up. The Era 300s can handle Left and Right rear and Rear Up.
@@mrbrownInteresting. Maybe six seven years ago at IT shows I asked the Sonos people whether they support Atmos and they didn't really know what is that.
@@mrbrown Love those picks! The combo of 2 Sub Gen 3, Arc, and a couple of Era 300s will definitely bring the house down when you crank up Mobb Deep, 2Pac, or Bon Jovi. I just need to watch the volume-I might have the neighbors knocking if the bass gets too heavy! 😆
