When I was in school a long time ago, I was taught that Mt Kinabalu was the highest mountain in South East Asia. ASEAN wasn't in the picture at all. Since when did it become the highest mountain in ASEAN?
Last time ASEAN only Singapore Malaysia Indonesia Philippines and Thailand. Now ASEAN grows very big including Vietnam, Myanmar, etc. Sorry I lost count😅. So last time Mt Kinabalu was highest was probably our time with 5 ASEAN. Now got to compete with other newer members of the ASEAN so no more highest is not surprising😂
Apparently the reason Hkakaborazi is not considered the highest peak in SEA is because it's part of the Himalayan ranges despite it being within Myanmar's borders.
😂 and so I google'd a "list of Southeast asian mountains" (wikipedia), both Myanmar &Indonesia hard fight for top 20+ spots (some shared border or part owned with india 🇮🇳 )... & like you said, down at the end of list 😂 Bt timah Hill. Why,leh! 😂 mayb like giving reader a sense of proportion, just like how a coin is placed in fotos to get a perspective of size. [Just a note: some peaks (in some countries esp remote areas) are not named - ie. do not have any name yet - for some reasons, like unclimbed /unconquered... or simply clustered as part of a range.]
You can't change a hill to a mountain, can we? But, we can change a swamp land to a metropolis. That, this country has done. Congratulations are in order.
Any date that anyone mention, that will be the date when the end does NOT happen. Why? Simply Matthew 24:44b says because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.
