Being a minimalism lover and dreamer, I’m not gonna lie, I’m obsessed with this house. But it’s clearly not for everyone’s taste. It looks clean and peaceful, really love it
See I'm the opposite, the big empty spaces stress me out. I don't think I could relax in that house. But there is a beauty to it. I can see the appeal.

The house is so artistic and Architecturally sophisticated, it’s beautiful and the shapes throughout are so elegant. Personally for someone that gets tiered from patterns and colors very fast and needs a constant change this is the perfect solution, never gets old. Besides they chose this is what they wanted we can just appreciate different styles that people choose

I love how bright, clean, and uncluttered their house is. Very minimalist! But it has kind of a depressing vibe to that house, like it's chill and peaceful but also empty and lonely.
It’s such a beautiful home I would like being there on vacation but not live there forever I think it would be depressing it’s too plain for my taste . everyone loves it like that since it’s not “cluttered” lol I don’t like cluttered either but some light colors or some more plants 🥰
Some people may like the minimalistic design of the new house, but I'm gonna have to go with the old one. It looks so cozy and warm ❤️ That's the kind of vibe I want :-)
After Kim's traumatic experience in France it makes sense that she would want minimalism but spacious as well. It's all about mental health and as long as she feels safe in her home and it brings her family peace and comfort it's all that matters. We all have our definition of cozy and serenity ☺️
The House was absolutely Beautiful b4 the RENO...Now it's like walking thru some BIG UPPER END DEPARTMENT STORE...4 KIDS ,and a floor that requires a team from EUROPE to fix. REALLLLLY her children should be able to just be kids in the WHOLE HOUSE.
I feel like Kim is doing what her husband wants rather then what she wants...take her closet for example he littrly threw out her entire closet and made her a new one for his likeing....
yes we all know Kim loved colour and was never a neutral lover until Kanye introduced a more bland way of living. I wonder if she will add a little colour in her life now that she has divorced Kanye. But I do agree her fashion sense improved after Kanye got involved.

Not going to lie, I kind of like it. Not sure about the hallway, but that bathroom with the forest of green, is divine. Before, it looked kind of like every other cookie, cutter McMansion.

I never liked minimalist style but i am obsessed with this house! It's a dream. The white walls have so much potential to play with different shades of light and to decorate for different occasions. It so peaceful, serene and humbly royal 🤍🤍🤍 love it!

I love how they decorated their house. It is absolutely beautiful especially the bathroom and kitchen. I’m not sure why people think it’s depressing. It’s actually so good walking into a place when it’s not crowded w so many things.
i cant believe there are so many people who believe the whole point of a floor is to damage it or get it dirty when it's the exact opposite, the floor should be one of the cleanest places in the house.
Tell that to everyone with an expensive wood floor who cares about markings on it unlike people with cheap wood floors who do not care about markings and end up having destroyed floors but they do not care. If you are honest with yourself, nobody can keep a carpet clean or undamaged and yet people use carpets and nobody uses words like defeats the point of a floor. A lot of people do not want visitors to enter with their shoes on. There are whole cultures where it is standard not to enter with your shoes on.
@@altenberg-greifenstein even if you have cheap wood floors, it should be maintained entirely clean. this is also a factor of why there is no shoes in house rule. i assumed this goes for everybody but maybe it's just how i grew up. other than that i completely agree with you. My feeling before understanding Kim and Kanye's desire for a minimalist home was that it was boring. After seeing it with different eyes and a new perspective, I understand that both of them being mega stars and being surrounded by so many people and so much sensory overload in their work, I can see how coming home to such a minimalistic home can feel soothing to their senses. While it is not my aesthetic, I understand why they went with it. I actually love the home and decor in its "before" state. The new pool is gorgeous though!
I like the before as well as the after. Each one has its own character however I prefer living in the updated version of the house cause it gives the vibe of tranquility and I like the monochromatic decor it just gives me the feeling of cleanliness, class and AAhhhhhhh relax
I would have loved to see something in-between. I like the minimalist look, but when too minimalist looks cold and undone. I would have liked to see some personal pieces of art on the walls, fresh flowers, indoor potted trees and some area rugs.
Personally, I think the house looked beautiful before the big renovation. I am more of a traditionalist. I liked that famous hallway prior to renovation with the big windows to let in light and the pretty light fixtures. Now I think the house has no character and looks too plain.
In contrast, the decoration to minimalist does not limit the kids by taking up space with more furniture. Staircase is entirely closed and much safer. Honestly I prefer it before renovations as it was beautiful, warm and not cluttered anyway and still would have been child-friendly.
You are free to create a house for your kids in which they can make everything dirty and leave their toys everywhere and all the toilets and sinks are the right height for kids, the door handles are at the height for kids, the tv programs are just for kids, and so on and on. You do not have kids, right?

If you are in business like them price matters. That's why they are both rich. Apparently it looks and feels like a house to Kanye now and Kim simply allowied him to have his way with it. I only read that she will redecorate and not rebuild it in future. And some argue that the minimalist design resonates with calmness in state of Kanye's health. So that is then very important.
More money than brains. Stripped everything out of the house that was warm and inviting and replaced it with very expensive materials that made it look cold and lifeless.

I love the minimalist "after" style! Especially that bathroom and the long gally kitchen. I like concrete and earthen plasters and finishes. I like smooth seamless surfaces, soothing on the eyes and so much easier to clean!
She has to fly in specialist from Europe to fix the floors and the walls are so light, every parents night mare so IDK how this would be easier to keep clean lol

Trying to keep that house clean with all those kids probably didn't help an already fragile marriage. These two lack so much wisdom. Just buy the house and renovate when the kids are over 10.
It does! Peaceful, quite, CLEAN. Like I hate all the trinkets and ‘stuff’ that people just LITTER their homes with. All it does is gather dust and it gets in the way. Monochromatic earth tones and colors, glass walls and space is al the decor you need. Looks fabulous
That ‘European floor cleaning crew’ is bullshit. I’ve never heard of plaster that can’t be sent by mail or America not having professional masons. Europe isn’t some magical place that has stuff Americans aren’t capable of replicating if they tried 🙄 (I’m European btw)
@@LyrasRaven It’s because it takes 10 years of training to learn how to plaster these floors. It’s plastered per millimeter. If you use a microscope you will see the artwork in each millimeter of tiny plaster.

They got a hallway that half the time you can’t walk on, they have a kitchen and a pool they don’t use, and most interior is not to touch, as if it’s an actual museum, rather than a home. Whatever makes them happy though

Every detail within this home is white-monochromatic. Everyone has a distinct personal taste, but Kanye is very domineering. This was his house in the design sense, not hers. Have you seen any other photos of Kim’s old home? Your comment is backwards- highways & fields of flowers are full of color & therefore, not lifeless.

Totally agree. Not a fan of the Kardashian at all, thanks for Kanye to gave life to this. I’m not a fan of his music either but one or too are ok. Not a fan of the persons they both are. But Kanye has got a pretty good taste in interior design, I have to gave him that. His headquarter for his brand is stunning too, and same for his New York condo. Beforehand I didn’t like beige or greige at all, but with what he did, I reconsidered and even if I don’t like everything in this house, I do have to respect his version of minimalism. As for her, she said she didn’t get involved at all in the decoration of this house and didn’t know anything about furniture before, so I won’t get any recommendation made from her in this area or anything else for that matter.
Kayne honestly has a great eye for fashion and detail and aesthetics I actually love how simple it looks and the marble and architect the whole vibe and white theme looks 😍 the house before is nothing new seen it so many times it was tad overwhelming not really into that whole country look. I love the way he and those he was working with came up with the whole look/concept it’s very tranquil and sheek .Less is more sometimes !”
Have you noticed all of them have white themes? And every other rich youtuber has the same? I do wonder if it actually lifts the mood. But there is little originality. Even with the architecture. If everything is white, there is no contrast. I agree the house is beautiful tho.
Honestly, the architecture of the house itself is beautiful. Inside though, they have made the interior so bland, and lifeless. I like some aspects of their house, though. It just doesn’t feel homey, and I can’t imagine how their kids feel.
