Thanks to Immortal Songs I have been a fan of Kim Kyung Ho and have researched his olds songs and some made it to my Spotify. I always look forward to watch when he comes in a long with other rock artists as all the performer always belt out whenever they come on.

김경호는 존경할 만한 가수요 롸커다. 변화하는 시대에 자신을 끊임없이 맞춰가며 즐기는 그의 놀이마당에는, 가수의 독주가 아니라 늘 대중이 함께 한다. 한국 땅에서는 롸커들이 노래하며 살기가 얼마나 어려운지. 요즘도 그렇고. 롹은 시끄러운 음악이라는 선입견 아래 방송에서는 보드라운 발라드 위주로 선곡한다. 인간은 생물이기에 악기인 몸은 시간 속에 쇄퇴해 간다. 특히 목과 몸을 많이 쓰는 롸커의 전성기는 짧다. 그런 생물학적 상황을 이해하고 가수가 젊을 때나 나이 들었을 때나, 기쁠때나 슬플 때나 아껴주어야 긴머리들은 쉼없이 노래할 수 있는 원동력을 얻는다. 팬들도 역시 나이 들어가면서, 가수에게만 한결같은 초창기 목소리를 요구하는건 뭔가. 누군가의 생피를 뽑아 마시고 드라큘라라도 되란 말인가. 2017년 12월 6일 타계한 프랑스의 롸커 Johnny Hollyday를 프랑스 사람들이 젊은 시절에만 사랑했던가! 늘어진 볼살, 더 이상 힘차지 않은 노가수의 노래건만, 프랑스 국민은 마치 가족을 떠나보내듯 전 국민이 애도했다. 그의 노래와 모습 속에는 청중 자신들의 나이테, 지나간 추억 또한 같이 새겨져있기 때문일 것이다. 굵직한 노래인 롹을 사랑하는 이라면, 적어도 메니아들에게 한결같이 서비스해 온 롸커는 존중해주어야 할 것이다. 그들의 노래로 인해 내 생의 어느 한 순간이라도 위로받은 때가 있었다면.

Thanks to Immortal Songs 2 I became fans with many artists I never would have seen before. Sadly the short clips seem to have edited out the green room. That was a big draw. Then with the order all neatly uploaded the surprise of who is up next and likely who won revealed another beg portion of the show is ruined. If this is KBS' new format for IMS2, like it became for many other shows, then my journey with them will be coming to an end. :(
