As a Baylor fan, I hate to see her depart. But, she is gone and and I wish her the best until she faces Baylor. And, we all tend to put coaches on a pedestal when in fact they don’t take one shot or make one steal or make one block. A coach is only as good as their players. A great coach gets great players which translates to wins. She has done that well at Baylor and she will do that at LS U. Baylor will hire a coach that will bring in great players and will win consistently. Maybe we will be able to face off in the finals one day.
Mulkey chose LSU to finish her career for challenge to building a second dynasty from ashes, rebuilding LSU’s lady Tigers in challenging environment of LSU, on SEC stage. This was not about money or Baylor but about going back to Louisiana, 6o miles from where she started. LSU hiring Mulkey away from a winning program she built at Baylor is UNLIKE ANY hire in NCAA recent history (last 75 years) Not UA hiring Saban, nor OSU hiring Meyer, or USCar hiring Spurrier - not even LSU hiring Bertman away from Univ of Miami is comparable except in the retrospective of Bertman building a dynasty at LSU Baseball. But hiring Mulkey away from the dynastic program she has created, is hiring in a class by itself. - Saban was jobless, dissatisfied, leaving Miami. - Meyer was out of work, retired from UF for health reasons. - Spurrier was hired to USCarolina from unemployed by Redskins. tbonne75 I’m a Virginian who goes to lsu but I think it’s funny that Jindal did such a bad job that you all elected a Democrat It’s like all he had to do to keep power was be semi-competent because his predecessor (Jindal) was anything but competent. Jindal cut lsu funding by 50%, passing the burden of paying for lsu to the students.

She probably didn't need to wear a mask up there alone on the podium. She could have just taken the mask off, but she had to make a show of it.
