Why does she need to go to LSU because your a fan. LOL. USC would be a perfect fit for her with JuJu in the back court. Hell she would be a great fit for UCLA where she can play power forward with her Betts and KiKi that would also be a nice landing spot. She won’t go to LSU for one reason she is quiet and reserved I would think LSU is the last place she would want to go. Time will tell.

Reese was suspended for the way she was treating the underclassmen. It was never divulged but rumors had it as that. I realize you can’t believe rumors but where there is smoke there is fire. I personally love her game as a rebounder and put back artist but she needs to develope a mid range game. If she does that she will be more of a force for her team. Agree with you on UConn if they can stay healthy they will be a force because love him or hate him Geno is a great coach

Good recap!! I felt HVL knew she would be a bench player if she stayed and tried to go back to the off guard.. I’m hoping Richard who is a PG will have an immediate impact as will 6’5 guard/forward Jersey.. They need a good size post who can move, rebound,shoot and complement morrow..Glad to see HVL, Velez and Kent go.. I saw a few things I liked with Kent when she played but she wasn’t aggressive enough and her body language wasn’t good..I would love to see them get another PG..

every thing that’s said here is true. the kent thing is kinda right but she was given a chance a couple times this season especially in the rematch with south carolina in the sec championship and she tried her best but it was just too much for her and she was just kinda throwing up shots and hope they go in. velez left because she just never played and that was insane because she’s a point guard. mulkey isn’t about developing her players she’s all about winning. i honestly think that if the players want to develop they’re gonna have to train with a trainer and then the results will show during practice

I think Kim kept hoping she would progress so she would get more time in the rotation, and basically fill the spot left open by Smith..Velez couldn’t make it into the rotation even when they could use another guard..When Poa got hurt they went to Kent which tells me Velez wasn’t that good..and based on what Kim said the rotation is determined by practice and earning her trust that you will take care of the ball, play defense and do your job..

Williams is a PG that Kim just didn't want to play at point at all. Hopefully she changes her mind and plays her there. LSU is fine with what they have. Williams Johnson Morrow Wolfenberger DelRosario Poa, Smith, Richard LSU is not desperate. PG is all that's absolutely necessary and a rotational big. A star has graduated, yes. The sky hasn't fallen. Chill out I'm not saying not to, but not too much from the portal. Williams can play point Kim just doesn't want to. LSU only lost Angel's star power. LSU is capable. Now Barker may be at LSU most likely.

I think Rosario is a good player but Mulky is corporate. She expects to come ready. Rosario needed development. I hated that this year how Mulky didn't develop the freshmen this year and it hurt her in the tournament

Non fans of LSU wouldn't probably know but prior to last season DelRosario bypassed on USA Basketball to have her ankle cleaned up. So, she spent the summer rehabbing. She was a freshman that wasn't needed to contribute right away. Samyah gets hurt, no Angel, roll with experienced players. So, yeah folks shouldn't sleep on DelRosario besides she can stroke a 3 too.

@andrewgolson1370 we needed Neesah moreso. We could have played small ball with Iowa. 4 outs and put Angel in single coverage. Someone would have been left open on the double. I mean, Kim didn't play her enough. She was available but she doesn't decide when she plays.

Yea, I know that, but today's game, the floor general need to have some type of way of creating for themselves and scoring 12 to 18 points a game, not just looking to pass.

South Carolina will be even better this season than last the team is now more experienced and more good talent is on the way in plus Adhel Tac was able to set on the bench learn the offense and defensive scheme set. If we get her, DK at point would be fine because of the rotation of so many lineups. VERSATILE is what is happening in BR. I can see offense high octane even faster because we won't have Angel slowing down the break when she should rebound and sprint to the rim. Her worst foul calls were when she would lead the fb and waits for defense to set, and then plow over them.

The me player got all the rebounds and put back points off your favorite players missed shots . She also was emotional leader and toughest player. She was the only player opponents feared.

Everybody on the planet is better than Reese to hear those running their mouths tell it. I don't understand why all the better than Reese players can't seem to come up with the production she does. I'm still trying to figure out why two featured 6'7 centers in the SEC Boston and Cardosa both featured in their teams offenses had a 6'3 undersized post out score and out rebound them 2 years in a row. And how did a can't play baller manage to lead the entire nation in offensive rebounds per game not to mention go to the free line more than anyone in the nation drawing fouls. Reese has left the college game I wish the rest of the people will let her move on and give these other players their dam dues.

@politicallil7060 wow, you took that very personal, I'm wondering if you and Angel are family. I wasn't saying anything bad about Reese. Comprehension is very important. Truth is, Kiki has a jumpshot, and can score down low, middy, and from three, therefore a better all around scorer. Also had a better FG percentage. Reese can't score from mid or from three, at least not at an average rate. But she does score and get her points, which I have mentioned many times in the past. Reese is also an amazing rebounder. I have no clue why you felt you had to mention South Carolina, but we all saw how well Reese did against Aliyah Boston, and it was embarrassing. She also had to get very, very physical (hair pulling, elbow to the face) to compete with Cardoso after being completely dominated in the past. She out rebounded them and outscored them, other than the fact that she is just a damn good player, because South Carolina didn't rely on Boston or Cardoso or anyone as much as LSU relied on Angel. Angel outscored Boston last year by 2 points. Playing 3 minutes more than Aliyah, Angel had 4 rebounds compared to Boston's 9, which ended Angels double double streak. Most of Angels points in that game came from the FT line. She got absolutely decimated by Boston. Cardoso in that game had 18 points and 13 rebounds in 21 minutes. You know Raven Johnson, a 5'9 PG, outrebounded everyone this past January game bar Morrow, an undersized PF right? Anyway, I actually gave Reese huge credit for her rebounding. You also do know Kiki averaged more points right? Meaning she did come up with the production. I never said Kiki was a better player, I said she was a better all around scorer. Angel is the better defender and rebounder. Get out your feelings, and chill a little. It's just sports my guy.
