She's a Louisiana girl, the only thing that would have been more appropriate is if she would've been brought back to Louisiana Tech. They screwed themselves out of that ever happening when they snubbed her after Barmore retired, look at where their program is now.

After Pat died, Geno said that they were actually friendly away from basketball. Their public back and forth was just two competitors who were at the absolute pinnacle of their profession going at each other. They understood that it brought attention to the sport, and behind the scenes they both respected each other immensely. One thing is for sure Women's basketball has never been what it was since the UT vs UCONN rivalry went away. Watching Pat Summit's intensity and personality on the court and hearing stories of how she actually was away from basketball, I believe he is probaly telling the honest truth. Honestly they were probaly identical personalities.

Yes. She has taken dozens of Black players "up" to the NCAA championships. What more can a coach do?

She also recently danced in a video with her black players!

Of her players that started and ended their college careers at Baylor, they have a 100% graduation rate. No need to break that stat down by race.
