To all those that ask why the crowd is so dead: this is a charity event full of suit & tie donors (ie. mostly older people) next to their dinner tables, not a concert venue full of fans. They're not there for Kim.

SickPrid3 if you’re referring to this performance, i’m not even talking about playback. she had playback on the other two shows too. i was just talking about how the sound engineers mixed her microphone settings to complement her voice/her song style better during this performance.

all4Hisgloryalone shes literally not lip syncing though. she has background vocal playback on all her songs because she can’t sing two parts at once but not once actually has she ever lip synced (sunc? sanc?)

I honestly don’t like the microphone mixing (i don’t know the technical term) in this, Kim’s voice is too good to be overshadowed with this autotune sounding mess.

Well she sings live with autotune. That’s her sound. It’s because she is layering her live vocals with the album vocals. They didn’t mix it well.

Holy fuck! Dial the fucking reverb back. I mean Kim always uses reverb but this is a whole other level. Kudos to Kim for pulling through it. Mariah couldn't on NYE, but Kim got it. Haha
