The show literally exploited a damaged, ill person. I feel so bad for Kim and the fact that the producers didn’t consider taking her out of the production of the series is messed up and exploitative for the sake of entertainment.
I think that Kyle dealt with Kim’s drinking for a long time and doesn’t know what to do to help her. That’s why she is so uncomfortable if Kim’s situation come up. Bless them.
People always forget how hard it is for family&friends to deal with someone having a alcohol problem (addiction in general) it’s always the poor addicts. But addiction makes you selfish and it makes you hurtful. So the people around you obviously have a hard time too
@@simonamelody5571 I really do not think that's true infact most of the time we write off addicts and do not afford them sympathy but we always empathize with the family members.
This is not ready related to Kim but I miss Adrienne sooo much, she was always really likable. And most of the time super calm. I don't really find the plastic surgery bothering.
Adrienne will always be my all time favourite. She's too classy to be on the show anyways, too smart and too busy being a real business woman. She was never malicious and seemed down to earth and real. Also, she's owns Las Vegas!!!
Kyle needs help professionally. Dealing with a family member with addiction is incredibly difficult and it can be very hard to understand what is the right thing to do. Kyle just doesn't know how to deal with the situation, if she gets help she can help Kim.
Kim is suffering from addiction yes, but Kyle has her own life to deal with. No one should be left with such a liability and then attacked for not doing more.
If I remember correctly, she was sober before they started filming, that’s why she got on the show. But she slowly began drinking again as the show was filming.
First of all she didn't throw a glass and i do understand what you mean but you need to get that kim is a crazy scary lady like those ones in the movies, i knew she was unstable since the first time i saw her in the show, and if she was to be in ur life at some point you will react exactly like lisa because she would have mentally put u in that state, anf mind u lisa didn't know she was sick so for her it was like someone being super aggressive like a narcissistic which kim had a lot of those behaviours traits.
I feel for Kim AND Kyle, because people think she plays the victim but I completely understand her feeling of responsibility and constantly worrying about the well being of her sister, plus her mom made her promise she will take care of Kim, which is a huge burden to anyone I pray for Kim and Kyle

The way Lisa R. kept coming for Kim to have a storyline and be sure to be kept for the following season was gross .. Kim might not be very likable but at least she’s always been genuine throughout the seasons .
100% some type of really horrible act happened to Kim as a child. She was a child star in that day in age where everyone knew it happened but no one does anything.
Not necessarily true. I grew up in the UK and did a drama degree but never did any paid acting work as a child. I still however have had problems with crack, heroin, and intravenous cocaine use as an adult. Yes it's very possible that something unspeakable happened to poor Kim as a child, or she could just enjoy drugs, as was the case with myself
Thank you Jesus!! I know what keeps me up being 32 and losing my innocence at 6yrs old. Only those who lost that will ever understand truly why I can't stop drinking and pill popping. I felt for kim from the start! I see this in her!
Kyle is actually the vile one! Doesn't leave a moment and pounces on every chance to spew her family history! Brings about the nasty details of Kim's alcoholism. Kim's got a really big gracious heart to let go of the ways Kim makes her feel. Watch really closely her tears on cue.
Now I see why Kim was upset at Kyle for not standing up for her. She allowed them to talk her sister in front of her and she engaged in the conversation instead of shutting it down.
I’m only at season 2, but the show should have really kicked her out of the show. The way she acted just showed there was so much wrong with her. I know she signed up for it, but the game night at Dana, showed she needed help. I know her kids tried to get her to rehab and she left, but Kyle and the producers should have really helped her.
Kim pushed her to that point. Lisa tired to help her at first and then Kim came for her husband threatening her verbally.. we all saw it! She finally snapped after taking too much she’s human

Kim is a complex character and has been through alot .. she should share her stories and make her own show about her life story Could give lessons and insights to other addicts, single mums, people who've been through difficult life situations and child actors etc.. She is not a spoilt brat who relies on a husband to save her... I like her
Kim is a long way from well. She was so delusional after her third treatment in season 2. Blaming others for her actions in regards to using. She wasn't ready then, she needs a to go to a treatment center that doesn't take BS and keep her there long term, like months and months. I had to do the same thing. BTW her DOC (drug of choice) is not alcohol, that's just what anyone in the media says that has a issue. She is abusing drugs, mainly uppers and she will never be the same Kim. The drugs have done long term damage physically and mentally.
I know it's mine, anyway. I smoked a lot of crystal meth and some crack but they never touched the sides on alcohol for me. Alcohol was the be all and end all when I was in active addiction. Awful

I hope kyle don't end up having a nervous breakdown worrying about her sister, sadly her sister is an addict she has had some of the best help out there if she isn't commited to any recovery programes that's not here sister or family fault and i think they need to move on i live there life in recovery not to pass on addiction as a normal way of life to the little ones.
I’ve worked in mental health and Kim has symptoms of a very, very, very heavy and long both drug and alcohol use/abuse. It’s extremely sad and I would guess there’s been some kind of trauma/ abuse at a young age. I’m not saying there’s been sexual abuse or anything like that but there’s been a misuse , used, somewhere
Addiction is the most hardest thing in the world. You can't help someone that doesn't want to help themselves. Really hope she's got the help that she needs
Here's the thing right, Once your addicted to anything, anything at all, you can only give it up when you truly want to, it's not up to anyone else to intervene for you, it's a waste of Time, Money & Effort, without personal willpower it's only an invitation to relapse every single time..imo...
Yes it must be exhausting for kyle. I dealt with my Sister having borderline trouble and a lot of things that comes with it, at some point you can't do it anymore. Especially when the person doesn't want help.. My mom and i just gave up and don't talk to her anymore, kyle is brave i think..

Its easy for outsiders to say things because if you look at it from that angle it does look like the family is not doing enough or is giving up etc but unless you’ve dealt with it personally you wont know how hard it really is. Its emotionally and mentally hard just as much as (battling) the addiction itself.
I'm watching the series for the first time in 2020, and I cannot believe that they even let Kim Richards be a part of the cast considering the state she was in. I cheered on Brandi the whole time (except for when she didn't tell her son off when he was peeing on the grass). Kim seems to be the most vile person: Insecure, unreliable, selfish, completely oblivious to how her actions affect others. I am so confused to see how the rest of the cast protected her like she was a little kid: I would have excluded her from my life a long time ago if I was Kyle. Kim clearly had one or several addictions, even her kids told her to go to rehab on Dr Phil but she refuses. Kyle acts very bitchy but only when Kim is around. I think Kim is the one who helps exacerbating Kyle's bitchiness as it's the one and only thing they desperately cling onto in terms of what they have in common. What a sad person. Taking about having zero accountability in life.
Unfortunately, Kyle is enabling Kim. Classic symptom of the effects of the disease of addiction. She should stop defending her. It’s hard, I know. I’m married to an alcoholic and I’m the daughter of an alcoholic father. Detach with Love and move on with your own life, Kyle. Then you put her on the show so we could all see her off her face and incoherent on a world wide stage. Then you want to keep it private and not discuss it ? Why would you go on reality t.v then l don't get it?
Being an addict myself I know how hard it is to quit drugs and alcohol. ( Im abut 5 years clean) . you need the willpower and a good support system. I can't stand Kim. she has a lot of shit she needs to deal with. I hope she finds her way now that she is a grandmother.

Kyle has been gaslighting Kim for years so it strikes me as false that she is sobbing about it now. She loves taking the moral high ground over Kim so she must be loving all this in reality...no matter the show shes putting on. Kyle is a horrendous narcissist I have no time or sympathy for her. Kim isnt a nice person either but theres reasons for that I believe and Kyle is one of them.
Kim is an addict and struggling. I'm bit excusing her behaviour but she clearly struggles and Rinna holds that against her. In my opinion, Rinna is saying things to Kim she wishes she could say to her husband who's also an addict.

Kyle story line is basically her sister or her being a part of other people`s fight. Honestly I have never known why she`s in the show. She will never be the classy or cool person she imagines herself to be. Also why is her husbamds infidelity and drug use never addressed

My brother use to drink he stopped one vice for another know he does drugs . It's like ever time I try to help he knows what to say and do soon as your guard is down his back on his dope makes me so anger . The family dynamic is Kyle & Kim gloss over the addiction issue. Maybe because Kim is in denial or its the family MO or both. If Kyle didn't want it discussed she should never have thought she could have Kim in the series & it would go un noticed.
Not taking sides, but Kim has been horrible to many people.I understand that she's a victim of addiction, but that doesn't mean that she should be given the benefit of doubt every single time. Kyle's stance keeps changing- she earlier stated that Kim is 'alcoholic" on TV, then she denies these issues when it comes to confrontation. Even in her sober phase, Kim has been vicious. Lisa Rinna is not a saint, but she didn't deserve the treatment which these women gave her. Yolanda's trip to Holland was completely trashed by Kim's absurdity, still, no one held her accountable. Kyle is a victim too, but she refuses to acknowledge the issues and take a stand! I feel so sorry for these women. People all over the world have actual problems to deal with and these women can't help but manufacture problems for their own selves despite being super privileged.

These women are so petty and yes kim is a nightmare and is deep into addiction. However these ladies are so self absorbed and lack empathy big time..of course you don't have to put up with abuse from anyone sick or not but they are true gossip hounds. Which I guess gets great ratings but makes for horrible friends
