this is so iconic in so many levels. Kyle crying, Brandi speechless for the first time, Kim being honest and iconic, Lisa Rinna being pathetic, Eileen being the best actress ever. I love this scene.
Watching this back I always thought Kim and Rinna were as bad as each other and Kim was being a bitch here but now I can see Kim's issue Rinna was in her business and that sister story was a cop out because she got caught being a gossip. And I actually believe Kim wasn't bluffing here she knows something and Rinna knows it because if there was nothing to tell Rinna would have sat there and calmly called her bluff and told Kim "sure go ahead say what you know bring it out into the open" but her reaction shows Kim struck a very raw nerve for Rinna

One of the more un-obvious reasons this scene is one of my favorites - bravo is so notorious for cutting and stitching, but this scene, if you watch it closely, it’s really not cut/repeated very much. This is one of the most raw scenes we’ve ever gotten and I love the production company for it. Then there’s the deeper argument with Kim and Kyle, there’s a whole bunch to unpack there especially now that we’ve had Kathy on the show which enlightened a lot of us. There’s a lot of things Kim said which at the time didn’t necessarily make sense per say, but since Kathy has been on now, what Kim has said makes sense.

I always rooted for Kim through each season. She was always the underdog and this scene totally flipped the table around. Suddenly she’s the one putting everyone in place. It’s only too bad that no one but Kim saw Rinna’s fake compassion for what it actually was.
Lisa and Eileen understood their roles. They are actresses are they were cast to act. Reality television is not supposed to be real. It's a spectacle. It has tropes. Only fools shoot the program like it's real life. If something triggers you to the point of hurting you deeply you shouldn't be on tv.

I thought the same thing, when Kim said Let's talk about your home life. No one at that table looks surprised. And Eileine to the rescue! She immediately jumps in and starts yelling at Kim. That got the attention off Rinna. So she knew exactly what Kim was getting ready to say, with the cameras rolling. I wish Kim had just ignored the other people at the table and kept talking to Rinna and talked about the home life and the husband. I think that now that we have seen enough about that dysfunctional family life, those acrylic nails and all the time spent in Canada ( he is never in any scenes of the show, Lisa goes to everything alone, if there are any short scenes of Lisa's home life, it is about her and the dog, or her with a daughter. ) In time, all the secrets of that Hamlin household will come out. Kim just got too close for comfort in this scene and Rinna snapped. Great reality tv

I have never watched this show but I am completely invested in this and already on Kim’s side 😂 I love that she kept that secret about the husband for future firepower and let Rinna know to keep her name out of her mouth or she’ll light that match and toss it in the gas 😂🙌🏼
It's a Journey I do like Rinna, but that was intense her going for Kim’s neck like that regardless of what Kim said. If I were Kim it would take me a long time to get over that.
