YESS EXACTLY also i love love love that tbeyre explicitly showing that they're exclusively friends at this point. I was worried ablut the age gap and whether theyd do romance right from when they met before the show had started but theyve handled it so well, theyre only friends until the age is much more reasonable (i think shes gonna be around 25 when she falls in love with yijin causs thats what it says in the trailer and hes gonna be 29 which is much better than 18 and 22) and i love that he just flat out says 'teenagers should date other teenagers. Grown ups should date other grown ups' in one of the first episodes. Bruh this man is so perfect 😭

@@ahanaroy4702 her reason for dating him is.. She said tht Choi tae joons cameo character a.k.a another national fencer on the men's team had confessed to her saying tht he was interested in her. So she agreed to date him (but not coz she likes him exactly) She said she wanted to experience being in a romantic relationship and tht if was was really like she had read about in her fav comic full house lmao💀💀 And later in the ep she reveals she broke up with him after 2 weeks coz she wanted to experience a breakup and see why they make it such a big deal in the lyrics of songs 😭💀 She said "Well a breakup isn't really a big deal now tht I've actually gone through it" "I wasn't really sad" And to tht Yi Jin said "u dummy u hv to actually be in love for a breakup to hurt and feel sad" And to tht they show us hee do reminiscing and we're given the flashbacks when yi jin had left without notice and she found tht fencing sword at her door She remembered how sad she was then Yeah and that's how tht scene ends

She also says that she wants to listen to a breakup song and feel sad….but then she’s like “It wasn’t even sad” “I wanted to experience a breakup” We know who she will really end up with in the end end…..even when they are older

And when she realized she had already experienced such heartbreak (of a sort) when the memory of Yijin abruptly left flashed in her mind without saying a single thing, was the bestest.

IKR This is like pure friendship unlike in some other kdramas. It’s like a senior and a junior relationship. If they were same age or so or classmates .. their friendship maybe predictable for a sure love story But here yijin takes hee do as a kid from the start

you are so very right !!.. i sincerely didn't enjoy forecasting love and weather as compared to our normal k-dramas 16EP kdrama format is literally the best : ep1-4 character introduction, getting to know each other, bickering, comedy : ep5-8 falling for eachother: 8 -the confession kiss: ep9-12-dating: ep13-15 the drama,emotion, traumas etc: ep16-dreamy happy ending. IT IS NOT CLICHE, IT IS A SIGNATURE!!!! Actually how fate brings them together is the most interesting part , after falling in love there is nothing much to watch ! romance should be at this pace for it to be enjoyable, not rushed . this format & the perfect blend of decent comedy and non-cringy&loyal romance in kdramas >>..>>> Hollywood movies.
