This was our first trip out with our new DIY bullet trap and my new CZ 455 rifle, I replaced the original stock with a Boyd's Pro Varmint stock. We are shooting at 50 yards. We wanted to find a good bulk ammo that the rifles liked. Both rifles have Vortex Crossfire II scopes. DIY Steel swinger target. We will be make a video soon on the DIY Bullet Trap.

I have a cz455 and I'm shooting my father's Kimber.... Both are great rifles. The Kimber is a tac driver with just a little 2-7 power scope. It out performs the CZ but remember, the Kimber is a $1,000 rifle whereas the CZ is a $500 rifle.....

Very good point. I traded a Benellie pump 12ga and $100 for the Kimber.

I have a Kimber 22HS and a CZ 452 in 17Mach2. Kimber is my favorite gun, the 17m2 is my favorite cartridge. Both are great shooters though! The Kimber with SK Standard ammo, is a fly killer at 50 yards! :-)

I think both are great little shooters! I was able to try a KYL at my match, it’s time to build myself one! Yours looks awesome! Great video guys!

Don’t break your sight picture when racking the bolt. It’ll drop your group sizes.

Well aside from the massive price difference between Kimber's and CZs, I cannot tell a bit of difference between them.

@@coatsbrothersfirearms8406 I'm a big fan of bolt actions and I'd love to own a Kimber but the price doesn't justify a purchase, especially when CZ and older Remington .22s are available and most importantly shoot just as well. I'm planning to pick up a CZ in .22 mag a little later in the year. Too hot to shoot anything right now.

I have a chance to pick up a nice K22 at a local shop. Its outfitted with a Leupold VXII 3-9x40. Id say it is in 95% condition. Is eight a reasonable price?

I paid $800 for mine new in box in about 2011. It was just the gun though. The three position safety is kinda neat too. Never thought I would pay that much for a .22 bolt rifle . Had been working massive amounts of overtime and had the cash 😉😎
