Great listen guys , i just picked up a 3 month old kim about a month ago , right now i have him in a 18 x 18 x 18 exo terra , i know im gonna have to upgrade size fairly soon. So you would recomend topsoil/sand mixture fir substrate , how deep? And have one moist corner of substrate in the cage with a heat pad underneath to evaporate the moisture right ? And to not let them walk around on wet substrate. Right now my little guy dosent really spend anytime on the ground, he spends most o his time hiding halfway up his enclosure in a cork round. I really just wanna get the humidity right , id hate to see him loose toes or tail tips. I know that in the exo terra the humidity evaporates pretty fast, hes currently on coco husk chip with leaf litter on top, when i upgrade his cage ill be switching to dirt mix.
