The Kinbor is one of my favorite planners, I've used one for two years and in 2024 I'm using a Kinbor grid notebook as my daily journal :D Great review!
I love this notebook and use it as my daily journal, so I don't need the weekly pages of a Hobonichi Cousin. The wider columns for the calendex / tracker make it more usable than the Hobonichi, I love that there's no quotes taking up space at the bottom of every page, and the paper works well with both fountain pens and watercolor markers. I think this paper dries a little faster than Tomoe River which is an added bonus. The 2023 version had one extra blank spread at the front, next to the the Plan of A New Year with the boxes. They've eliminated that this year and changed the Favorites pages. I think the biggest change in the lineup is that they don't offer a 2-book "avec" style this year. I did get a Kinbor weeks-style as well for 2024, and use that for tracking health and meals; I like the white paper, functional index and more space to write without the quotes in that notebook too.
Hello, thank you for the video! I’m sure you’ve used it for quite some time now & experienced with different inks. Would you say it is fountain pen friendly? As in - no bleed through/ feathering with medium/broad nibs or wet pens? How about the shading or sheen? Thank you so much, I really appreciate you making this video!
