Ive skipped over this video time and time again, mainly because my titan killing is “good enough” but it was incredibly helpful even for me and im gonna try this later when im on. It was very helpful and you didnt blitz through the entire video, i thank you for that.

w vid, got straight to the point, good advice. i am currently guilty of blinding them and then killing but i just gotta get better at using the odm gear and strafing around their shoulders so i can just fly by, swing, and move on.
To be honest as begginer who didnt watch a single tutorial they actually think hitboxes are small so for easy mode they should just make it about 1 stud bigger in every direction
One thing I will say is that hook assist has its pros and cons. One pro would be that it does allow easier control, but a con is that it will sometimes hook on to objects that were unintended to hook on to which can be fatal at times which is why having it is debatable. If you want to speed run which is what you were saying it is good to have it, but if you actually wanna have a higher chance at surviving you should not. Although TBH if you actually get used to no assistance it is better imo
this game will be good if they made more titan models and decrease unnecesarry stuff and increase FPS for low end devices this game is fun cant wait till they release it again i really hope they add more features to the game ya heard
tysm for this usally my runs take 8 mins but this make so it takes 4-3 mins on rare times its 2 minutes even this tutorial is helping me complete games much faster thanks for the help
A tip that I have for this is to actually aim for something behind their shoulder and then hook onto it and when passing by the titans head u can attack and most of the time it hits the nape

This is how I broke it down. AOT:R - [ ] grapple on to the upper chest of the titan either left side or right side while holding space (don’t let go of space at all) hold a for right side and d for left side - [ ] Hold e, w d or a and space all at the same time until you get over the shoulders. - [ ] Then once you get over the shoulders and at an angle to where you can hit the nape still holding e w a or d and space let go of a or d and slash the nape.
Actually, we can do orbit: avoiding titan from shoulder and going forward to the neck. This trick is easy to learn, also it can be helpful on other AOT places.
I'm always knew about that but bruh I came in this game to cut titans to a small pieces and get fun from that not for a world record of the fastest closed mission 💀 but it will be helpful for novice so good job bro

I got considerabily sharp at my first day playing. So dont worry, you will discover techs with time. Now here is the mehhods i use to kill titans Normal/running titans: First you hook into them, then as you are being pulled towards the titan, align your camera with the titan's path(use shiftlock,its good),and when he is close to your crosshair, stop holding the hook, and then double tap space to boost(verycgood mechanic btw. Abuse it) and swing. Crawling titans(A.K.A hell on earth): boost looking upwards,then you hook into their torso,and swing.
is hitting the nape an instant kill no matter what or is it possible it takes more hits? like if your damage is to low would hitting the nape not instantly kill the titan?
Im rank D and when I the first method of killing titans it doesnt work, is it because I dont have my control stat high enough? My character wont follow my mouse's movement very well. I still end up killing them but not as fast or good as you are.
Because I can't one shot on aberrant so I chose to fly through it neck side because the hit box is quite large so i don't lose speed by turning if I lose speed my damage is lowered which is just 99% faith hit most of the time
