This movie takes place in Astoria, Oregon, part of where The Goonies takes place. The Goonies House is close to where that school is. I was born on November 5th, 1985, & as a kid growing up, based on my own experience, kids like a cool teacher :)

Linda Hunt always plays such enjoyable/endearing characters. She is a great talent. Anything she is in, it's probably very good. Even if it's not, it would be much worse if she were not in it.
FUN FACT: The little Hispanic girl in class, Rosa, was played by Odette Yustman who is now Odette Annable. She also starred in "Cloverfield" and "House" and is currently on "Walker."
In 1990 I was 16 and went to see this movie with my first love. It's one of those experiences that plays like a recording in your mind and brings a big smile even after 30 years. I can barely believe that it still has cultural relevance and people are still watching and reacting to it.
Arnold is a great actor. He plays a very good C.I.A agent in a movie called "True Lies". It is a pure action movie and one of his best roles in acting. Great Review! 👍
His partners fiancé was played by Bob Nelson a stand up comedian from the late 80s/early 90s. He had a popular bit about an All American football team and an impression of a fish in a fishtank.
Lots of really good movies but also an amazing life story. Arnold is originally from Austria and gained fame as a body builder. Moved to the US continued building on his body building fame, got into acting and got really famous for doing a lot of movies. He was even governor of California from 2003 to 2011. Doesn't get enough credit for being really smart and having an incredible work ethic. Maybe react to Bill Burr's Epidemic of Golding Whores, Arnold is featured in that sketch.
The fact that James Cameron directed a movie on an epic scale like Titanic, and then used Arnold for Terminator and also True Lies, just highlights the differences between his skills as an action star and also action comedy too. He and James are the GOAT
I remember seeing this when it came out a million years ago with some friends and having an absolute blast. It is very much a film of its day which wouldn't get passed script editors today which makes it that much more special to me.

Arnold Schwarzenegger has been one of my favourite action movie actors for over 40 years I think he has some of the best one liners in anything he does. I remember the first time I watched The Terminator, Running Man, Commando and True Lies and End Of Days, Just a few of my favourite movies. Other great Arnold Schwarzenegger comedy's are Twins and Junior, both starring alongside Danny DeVito
Now I was just going to say Terminator predator and true lies but clearly others are saying even more of his movies. The governator has played so many roles and became an absolute meme more than once, I recommend looking through his work, be it good, bad, or what the hell did I just see, there is definitely a lot to look at.
If you liked Arnold in this, you would probably also enjoy the movie "Twins" with him and Danny DeVito. Comedy / Romance. For his action movies "Predator" and "The Terminator" are classics.

MAGGIE (2015, lol :D) Terminator 2 - Judgement Day is the best SF-action movie that I have ever seen, it stayed on nr 1 spot in my list of preferences for decades, until The Dark Knight then Joker took it. It's still on 3rd, that's pretty good.
Conan the Barbarian was Arnold's breakout role, followed by the Terminator. He didn't speak English as well as he does now, so he didn't speak a lot in those movies. But he speaks much more in Predator and Terminator 2. Those 4 movies are the backbone of his acting career
When Kimble becomes a kindergarten teacher, rather than an LAPD detective, it doesn't feel like the same movie anymore. Did anyone feel that way, just like I did.
this was the last movie I watched with my uncle before he died that was back in 2014 I miss him a lot, things get pretty lonely without him sometimes I wish he was still here and saw me graduate I was like a son to him and I always saw him as a father I miss him so much sorry I didn't mean to get so deep great reaction Magy
Jingle All the Way is a Christmas movie starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. It's another action comedy that's great, especially with the X Mas season coming up. 😄 True Lies - action comedy Eraser - pretty much action only Are two other pretty action heavy movies of his with lots of stuff going on. He also did one of my favorite movies of all time, "Conan the Barbarian" from 1982. It's a slower paced fantasy movie but it's what helped start his career as a huge movie star.

This movie got Arnold a advisory role to President as ChairmAn on the Presidents council Physical Fitness and sports. From 1990-1993. In this role Arnold helped develop youth fitness programs for Schools. Arnold has also been a long time supporter of the Special Olympics(athletics for those with physical or mental disabilities) as he was married to Maria Shriver whose mother Eunice founded the Special Olympics. Many people don't agree with all of Arnold's politics since he is a staunch Republican but his work concerning a children's issues and with the disabled is amazing.
I respect him for all these things, and for putting country over party when fascists took over the GOP. He showed the kind of courage usually associated with characters he plays onscreen, so while you're right that I don't agree with him on everything I agree with him more than pretty much every other Republican and I respect the hell out of him.

Predator is probably one of manliest films ever made. Lol. And has some of the greatest lines in film. If you want another of his comedies to watch, watch Twins. M C - Agreed. I'd go Total Recall (Sci-fi with great writing and tons of cool ideas) Terminator 1 & 2, then Conan (a little GOT vibes, action and humour), Predator/ Commando beefcake cheese double feature, True Lies, and Jingle All The Way for the Xmas season.

@@parker469a But if she wants a genuine feel for what he became iconic for, "Terminator" is a very good place to begin, or at least a close second, even if not as a "reaction video" For personal experience of Arnold I would put Conan The Barbarian, and The Terminator very high on the list. As for reactions, I would put True Lies The Last Action Hero and Twins very high. It's all dependent on "a certain point of view"
You pronounce his name a lot better than he pronounces a lot of English words 😂 The best part about this movie is that, in the years since filming it Arnold has kept in touch with all the kids.
If you want to see some other amusing films with Arnold Schwarzenegger try "Twins (1988)" and a Christmas film "Jingle All the Way (1996)" Popular ones he is known for "The Terminator (1984)", "Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991)", "Predator (1987)", "Total Recall (1990)", "True Lies (1994)" The fire drill, getting the kids out is like trying to herd cats. Kids typically have lots of energy so having them exercise and doing constructive activities can tire them out. Makes them less prone to wanting to act out and run around.
The situation of having bulked up teachers is not as unique to this movie as you may think. Rick and Scott Steiner, former world singles and tag championship pro wrestlers, were both qualified high school teachers before getting their break in wrestling, and those guy were BIG!!! Also shout out to Linda Hunt, who played the school principal in this. She always be a crack up, as can be seen most recently in NCIS Los Angeles.

I've watched several other reaction channels do this movie and they all had that line in it along with many more scenes that were missing on this channel.
@@windsorkid7069 Just because one reaction doesn’t get blocked, that doesn’t mean anything for another reactor. Some reactors post hour long reactions, where they end up showing almost 2/3rds of the movie & another reactor will get a copyright strike for the same movie, often showing far less than the other reactors do. It’s pointless to say, ‘So & so reactor did this, why don’t you?’ You don’t know what’s going on with them, or how many copyright strikes they have etc. How about you just be happy that you were given some free entertainment & don’t act so fucking entitled.
Arnold has made some good movies. True Lies after this one, perhaps, then the Terminator films--especially the 3 by James Cameron--and Predator are very good. And many others. Thanks again for another beautiful reaction.
Arnold Schwarzenegger (and you did quite well with his name, I felt a slight accent, but proper pronunciation otherwise) is primarily known for "action" movies, his most iconic role "The Terminator" included a line which was repeated in the first sequel at least, and was also included in at least one other movie of "I'll be back" was, I believe, a direct inspiration for his line when he returned to the kindergarten class where he said "I'm back" Likewise I believe the whole "Austrian" aspect introduced was because he is in fact Austrian. [and if I'm wrong, it's just my opinion] As for "when did this happen?" regarding the fiance.... They are police detectives working undercover. It's not like they were born, fully formed, into their current assignment, her fiance is is her genuine fiance, the man she is planning to marry. He came to visit her, since Kimble had taken on the position she was supposed to fill at the school, she had plenty of time for a "visit" It wasn't part of the plan, the couple in love were just trying to make the best of the opportunity to get together, since she didn't have "work" to get in the way.
I think that the Arnold Schwarzenegger movie that you would enjoy the most would be "True Lies". It has action but you will get some laughs from it, too!

Great movie. A great comdic movie of Anold. You should also see Twins another Arnold Comedy. That Ferret is Legend, I have not seen such an heroic from a animal since The Rat in the Mcu end game :) . Other more action movies you should see of him are : Total Recall , True Lies , Conan the barbarian, The Running Man.

A good Halloween movie for you would be The Crow, because you love love. It's not scary, it's an action movie and the "monster" in it is the hero. This movie will likely make you cry at parts though. Some funny movies for Halloween are: Ghostbusters (the original from 1984 I mean) Ernest Scared Stupid (A very funny movie for kids, the troll in it is a little scary at times) The Monster Squad (Kids save the world from Dracula) Gramlins (Which Grogu would enjoy too) Hocus Pocus Beetlejuice (This one is pretty wacky but fun)

There is a 2020 interview with a reunion of some of the children from this film. Dominic was played by identical twins and one of them said that it was so difficult when he had to pretend to be terrified of Richard Tyson who played his evil father when in real life he was the kindest and most friendly person in the world and that all the children (plus their parents) loved him.
i can`t believe that you didn`t see arnolds filmss. he is one of the biggest blockbuster stars of all times^^ from the terminator movies, to predator. from true lies to the conan movies. hell, he even had a role in batman flick. and one time, he was playing a pregnant man 🤣
