Kindergarten teacher gets showstopping surprise 

I absolutely love that she got the chance to be on Broadway. I got the amazing opportunity to be on Broadway back in 2012 and it was the absolute best feeling ever. Her life has officially been forever changed thanks to those amazing people.

She's amazing--took her chance and really let those years of experience and passion take over. Nerves of steel for sure.

Well deserved surprise from the company of Aladdin to this remarkably talented and engaging kindergarten teacher! It did touch me that she got a solo bow, too - congratulations, and break a leg wherever the future brings you!

She seems like an awesome teacher and I'm glad she was able to have this amazing experience. I don't know why they said "The audience would have never known that was her first time on stage" when in the segment about her she talked about how she has been performing all her life. It was her first time performing on Broadway, but far from being her first time on stage. The type of confidence she showed in her performance comes from experience.

She "FIT" in well with the cast. Good Job!!!

Enough of the well wishes! If you really care about teachers, start writing to your state and federal officials to demand a raise! When we have teachers working two or three jobs just to make ends meet, something is seriously wrong! In California, a congressman introduced a bill to "increase teachers salary" the only problem is that the bill merely encourages districts to use the money for actual teachers salaries, it is NOT a requirement so they leave it up to the superintendents and school boards to use the money as they please, like giving themselves a big, fat raise! WTF?
