Kindness 101 with Steve Hartman: Friendship 

I’m a 62 year old man who has loved the Friday news to see your stories. I love your daughter and hope she follows in your footsteps. After this pandemic is over I’d love to see you and your daughter doing stories together. Every time I see her it makes me miss my grandchildren even more!

Good morning! It is a beautiful day here in W Pa..sunny and mild temps..a day to work in my yard getting ready for the flowers to bloom and hopefully I will be able to plant my garden this year (Lord willing) I pray all have a beautiful and blessed day in the Lord..be thankful to Him in all things..speak praises and thanks to Him for everything, whether good or not so good, because He is merciful and He knows what He is doing! During the pandemic my oldest sister took to writing thank you notes to people she comes into contact with regularly. The stocker at the grocery store is the one who stands out the most. He talks to her every time she comes in and they make sure she gets one of the power shopping carts and that it’s powered up. I have made the word “gratitude” my watch word, not just during the pandemic but all the time. Merrill’s suggestion about listening is a good one. But I think greeting them and honestly showing appreciation for their service goes a long way as well. She is such a cute little girl! Merrill thank you for all the hard work you do making the posters and the pictures. George thank you for the work you do and the contributions to the shows. You both do such work. Thanks for adding your kiddos to the program Steve.

My counselor is out of state - some kind of problem has called her and her return is unknown. I am 71 now - and with some emotional issues I didn't want to grow old and crabby and hate the world so much. So I watch these stories - my face is always wet after - not sad tears but kind tears - caring tears - sweet tears that help lift my spirit so thank you for doing these stories - and illustrating how we can all be kinder and more caring.

Kudos Steve Hartman, your classes are just not for kids but most importantly it is a must for us adults.......

SPENCER ROCKS!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I KNOW how Spencer and Josh feel/felt. I am on my SECOND BOUT of CANCER. I BEAT stage 4 Cancer back in 1999. I had to have a radical hysterectomy. My 2 kids were YOUNG, 12 & 7 at the time. My husband has just left me for a girl HALF MY AGE. ( I was 35, she was 18) So my kids NEEDED ME. I WANTED GRANCHILDREN. I am STILL WAITING to be a grandmother, kids are now 37 & 32. I WILL FIGHT until I get my wishes! 😊
