It's something that people do when they feel the game is already lost so they stop trying and only try to get high numbers be it kills/assists or farm, as for why it's because it looks pretty, when you stare at your match history it looks like you played really well.

@@gryffinnI’ve had success with full crit and nothing else. Cant one trick the champ anymore because you need a frontline now since on-hit feels like complete dogshit and Trinity is trash. Kraken>IE into situational (Collector/BT/LDR/Mortal Reminder/PD) has been pretty good but it feels very coinflip, not very consistent game to game because you feel exactly like you would on a real ADC, if you fall behind you’re really useless. If there’s some secret tech I’m not seeing for an on-hit/bruiser build that actually still deals damage then I need to hear it, otherwise it looks like Kindred is going back to the vault. Edit: I tested the Akshan lethality energized build and it felt a lot better game to game. Much more consistent spikes and even if you fall behind you have the burst to deal damage against squishies and make plays to bring yourself back. With crit it really doesn’t feel like you’re a champ until 3 items and even then you’re still a one shottable ADC that relies on consistent autos to deal damage, with the energized build you can get away with Qing from out of vision and procing energized effects and then quickly dipping back into fog or committing for a one shot. Don’t know at all if it’s “optimal” but it definitely feels good to use compared to crit or on-hit.
