Great interview!, but the chapter marker for Mamoudou Athie is incorrectly labeled 'Will Smith.' This raises concerns about racial recognition. Please correct it. Thanks. Also, where is Hong Chau?
Loved Poor Things but unfortunately i hated this one, a collage of nothingness that looks to be cruel for the sake of cruel and edgy for the sake of edgy without any narrative sense.
I think there was narrative sense, but the film seems more interested in ideas and abstract concepts than telling a straightforward narrative. And Lanthimos loves cruelty, this is nothing new for him
I just watched it. In my session, I was one of the few people who stayed until the end of the film. Almost everyone left the room. As always, Yorgos is pure cruelty! I think he is a highly elitist director (his decision not to accept certain types of actors in his Hollywood “troop” is ridiculous) his films are only for certain groups, very pretentious. I feel sad that Emma Stone is so involved in this. Before, she made us emotional, made us cry and laugh, but now it’s all about fetishes, spicy scenes and cruelty. I’m a fan, but I’m losing a little of the admiration and affection I felt for her.
Spicy scenes , disturbing and cruelty are the type of films that can challenge her as an actress and be respected. Those are the good types of film I liked seeing.
@@Shionshowa Playing disturbing roles and being a fetish object for a director does not make an actor revolutionary, much less respected, which is not the case with her, because before she even started working with Yorgos, she had already made two Oscar-winning masterpieces! She has always been talented, respected and deserving of her awards, but she is losing her true essence in Yorgos' cruelty
Good. I hope you lose all your admiration and respect for her cause I don’t think she wants people like you anywhere near her. She’s an artist and wants to embrace that in her career, clearly
This seems to be an art film. A small audience, but a lot of brave actors. They will come to Serbia only in September, so I'll see... All the best to the crew, especially to the beloved Emmy Stone.
Emma Stone was brainwashed by Yorgos Lanthimos?! Someone, please, save her from this man! Because it is unbelievable that a person who is apparently intelligent and judicious in her roles accepts to be part of such inhumane and senseless things just because it is a Yorgos film! This is definitely one of the worst films of Emma's career!

Hey Oscars! I will hope Mr. Wolf (from "The Bad Guys" and its upcoming sequel; voiced by Academy Award®-winner Sam Rockwell) and Ruby Gillman (from "Ruby Gillman Teenage Kraken" and its upcoming sequel; voiced by Lana Condor) will host to the 97th Oscars® after Jimmy Kimmel and John Mulaney both turned down hosting gig on the 97th Oscars®. We Support Mr. Wolf and Ruby Gillman for the 97th Oscars® hosts!!! Please, thanks!!!
I as much i love the other works of lanthimos. I dont see this getting nominated at all, like i like it but given its critical reception i doubt it will touch a oscar nom this year, good job on Plemons for winning Cannes best actor
@@ΓΕΏΡΓΙΟΣ-ι8νI wouldn’t be surprised if Kinds of Kindness remains my favorite. Obviously this is subjective but I haven’t been that into many of the films coming out this year. I know I’m going to at the very least really like Nosferatu and The Substance could rival Kinds of Kindness based on what I’ve heard about it.
