there is a mistake on the second question i think you forgot to square the time because the equation is such that s=ut+1/2(a)(t)^2

hello teacher I. think that the ans in min 16:57 should have been 26.1. because the d=0.5at but t should be squared
@__Joki__
@__Joki__ 3 года назад
I agree, if you plug it into the other formula as well the answer comes out to 26.1

my answer is 26.1 too. I thought i was wrong until i read your comment

There's a mistake with the second question in the second part It's supposed to be d=a(t×t)÷2
@saifaltaee3301
@saifaltaee3301 Год назад
for question 2 you have t^2 so it should be 26.1m if that's right ?
@-ro1655
@-ro1655 Год назад
Yeah since he forgot the power 2 on the original equation so 1/2at^2 giving 26.071 approx 26.1

I thought maybe for the part where the trains are travelling in same direction , we should say time to catch the slower train is found by using only speed of faster train and distance apart

In the second Question the time must be squared and the correct formula is s = ut + (1/2)at²

In 34:47 its should be t = 4 hours.

For the bicycle problem Vi=10m/s D=780m A= 0.1m/s^2 and T= 60s. I get different final velocities depending on the formula used. For D=1/2(vi+vf)t I get 19.33, but for vf=vi+at and vf^2=Vi^2+2ad I get 16. What am I doing wrong?
@elijahcox8085
@elijahcox8085 2 года назад
I was looking for the speed of the initial rider btw.
@hetanshbhuta6342

I think the answer should be 16 cause Vf for driver 1 is the Vo for 2. So if you just find that then you can calculate for the Vf for driver 2. Then you can just plug everything in the formula Vf = Vo +at, Vf = 10 + 0.1*60, Vf = 16

for the bus and car problem, the bus has constant speed not acceleration, so should be d=vt

sir which chapters do i need to know from physics 1 to do physics 2?.. i use the book (physics for scientists and engineers with modern physics 8th).. do i need to know all 23 chapters form physics 1 respectively in order to do physics 2 or just a small bunch of it?

Is not it that the trains meet after 4 hours?

21:00 the acceleration is not constant so we cant use the formula Vf_Vi = 2ad
