it’s disappointing to see so many chifi companies not keeping their nice restrained bass curves and simply reducing the pinna and upper mid energy, instead electing to continue making generic shouty and bassy v-shaped sets.
Totally agree. I think it’s mainly because V-shape is safer to sell and Chifi company needs money to maintain the company as well as further expand their marketshare (as you can see in the sub $20 its mainly V-shape tuning)
Has to do with the younger Chinese audience as well. Went to a show in Shenzhen, almost 8 of 10 people I met or talked to prefer the piercing upper mids and treble with minimal bass. I guess beginners are more into that FR for more “details” to convince themselves to explore further down the hole 😂
I received these yesterday and typically I strip the cable and tips and provide my own. I kept the 3.5 cable and added Dunu S&S tips and wow it smashes for 30.00! Vocals are a bit recessed and they are a bit bassy but coming from listening to the DaVinci, they aren't as bassy as DaVinci. These do OST very well! The Mandalorian, Dark Knight to name a couple. Subbed for your honesty in this set! It's amazing what 30.00 will get you now in the budget IEM world!
@@prakharanand7012 Kefine Delci is where it's at 💯 I also just received a 3.00 set from Temu that wrecks anything under 50.00. I have no idea what brand it is as it came in a bag with no branding.

@@VortexReviews1 For real, when will these companies learn we need more low and high end fidelity to even come close to a reasonably faithful reproduction of mere compact digital audio, 20-20,000 Hz. ChiFi still has a ways to go. I believe in y’all!
I have the original Wyvern (using it ti watch this video) and wouldn't mind getting these new ones for aesthetic reasons (I'm not that updated regarding the current chi-fi meta in a good while so I'm quite content with the Wyvern's sound)
This wyvern, tangzu waner and moondrop chu 2 which is best for listening to hip hop and rnb music and also which is most comfortable in the ears for long listening music sessions ??
Comfort wise they are all pretty decent but the Wynern's have the largest shell. I would say the Wan'er is the least likely I would pick for those genre's.
How would these compare to the EW200s? Mine is a bit annoying becoming unbalanced and always having to remove the filters and looking for something to replace it with.
