I had some of Kinera earlier's products. Never liked them but it seems like at the very least they're focused on improving and making different stuff. Great review mate.

My Nanna 1.0 arrived this week and they are very good IEMs. But I got an issue...I'm having air pressure build with every single silicone tips I try with it. It only happens with the Nanna. I tried a lot of different techniques already, but no luck. My ears are fine and checked. Also, the air vents on the shells are not blocked. The perfect seal will always make a vacuum and build air pressure on both sides.
@ConvinceMeAudio

That’s very unfortunate, I did not use silicon tips with the original, I love the fome Because they sounded the best try those the ones that come in the box

@@ConvinceMeAudio yeah I'm using those foams. They are very good.

You still getting the pressure buildup with them?

@@ConvinceMeAudio Not with the foams, just with any silicone tips. I don't know what's causing that.

Just got a new pair of Kinera Nanna. But one thing that's bothering me is the lack of sub bass and rumble. I'm running them on my FiiO BTR5. It's a power issue? They need more power for its bass to shine?
@ConvinceMeAudio

Not by much, but yes, also try tip rolling

Just saw your nanna 2.0 review and this one. Funny thing is my nanna 1.0 (from early 2020) almost pretty low bass and vocals were a bit shouty (Tips maybe?). Later I got the flagship of Kinera - Baldr this year and trust me it's everything as u said here in your review of nanna or maybe even better. After buying the meze empyrean, every audio product started sounding meh to me, be it arya, be it focal clear but the baldr still sounds excellent. I would really like to see your review of baldr in the coming days.

Yes, the first generation would exude those characteristics if you use the rubber tips, its place such a big role in IEMs. I am intrigued, I will look into it, and see if we can get one in for review. The EMPY is still one of my favourite headphones to date, absolutely stunning, I reviewed it on the channel a few months back and owned it for awhile

@@ConvinceMeAudio I saw your empyrean reviews too and I asked u there a 2 months ago about A90's capability of running the susvara. Anyhow, it seems A90 with dx7 pro's dac isn't sufficient :(. Can you suggest a dac amp (both within 1200$) for the susvara? The topping stack mentioned about is too peaky in few songs @high gain. I am short of budget atm as I just got the susvara this month
@ConvinceMeAudio
@ConvinceMeAudio 3 года назад
@@damienriot that’s interesting, I am sure I replied, I recognise the name. Most likely the peaks you will get is from the source, but be that as it may, the a 90 you need to eliminate the volume pot, introducing a gold point stepped attenuator into the mix and bypassing the volume pot on the a 90 will mitigate a lot of problems,. That will eat around $700 of your budget,, but the performance of the a 90 is superb with it That leaves you $700 for your DAC, maybe a buy Frost two from schiit it’s a warm DAC, a little thick sounding, might be the touch of flavour you’re looking for
@ConvinceMeAudio
@ConvinceMeAudio 3 года назад
@@damienriot but you really should be saving up money for the proper chain for SUS, these side grades at this point might be a bad idea, but if you’re short of money, that’s the best solution I can give, The a 90 change is a fair bet with a gold point become superb and the gold point is always useful down the road as well when you buy your speaker amplifier
@damienriot
@damienriot 3 года назад
@@ConvinceMeAudio i will definitely come back next year and comment in a new video of yours asking for suggestions for the perfect speaker amp.or powerful headphone Amp of the susvara. 😅 But until I can save up, I need to enjoy the Susvara with what little budget I have now.
