I Still Remember When My Dad Was In abroad and when he used to come to India for a Month or 2 Months Holiday he used to Ride this Scooter Really 90 period was a Era In My School Days Teachers And a Senior Students Used to Come on this Scooter But Unfortunately I Have Not Driven this Legend Almost Rode all the Scooters and Bike's but not this One.

We had this when we lived in rurkee i wasn't even born then now im 25 and living in pune the kinetic is gone...i used to go to school on kinetic with my caretaker as my father was in the army back then....so many memories....life goes on ♥️
Kinetic honda us daur ki bahut hi naamchin scooter thi thodi dikhne mein alag thi magar baat bhi usme bahot khaas thi,maine bhi bahot chalaiye hai kinetic honda aur aisa lagta hai ke aanewale saalon mein usse wapas wohi looks magar kuch aur features addon karne ke baad wapis introduce karna chahiye, kuch toh baat thi usme jo itne saal baad bhi uski charcha ho rahi hai.
It's an interesting point that I have also wondered about, maybe it has something to do with the starter limiter sound or the acoustics of the bike itself.
It is because of the drive end clutch and power transmitter component which when gets engaged makes that sound due to its material. You can see that when just after the sound the rear wheel would spin for a moment...
@@deepvaghela8095 yes.. you are right.. its a bendix gear noise.. when engine starts bendix gear disengages but due to speed of engine it hits back to its housing which is connected to started motor.. I am a Two Wheeler Mechanic... :)

We had this scooter at our place for more than 20 years. Delivered her best till the end, had to scrap due to lack of spare parts and RC issues. Those days ladies would ride this scooter only, so many of my aunts had this scooter. Those days ladies would mostly wear sarees so this scooter was easy for them to use at it had a self start. Only disadvantage was it's kick which was very hard. I still remember watching from the window, hearing so many self start attempts early morning as kick starting it in a saree was very difficult, those memories will stay forever
I also have kinetic Honda dx which is best scooter in the world.it mileage is 70 kmpl.kinetic honda discontinued in 2011 not in 2008. kinetic Honda dx discontinued in 2009
My father had this scooter in 90s. It is my favourite scooter. Kinetic should relaunch this legendary scooter with bs6 engine. I believe if Kinetic relaunches this scooter, it will give tough competition to Honda Activa 6G.
Do restore it with repaint,remove rust,put primer and let it be like the original one,get new bulbs,refurbish the engine,spend some money in your kinetic,memories won't fade away.This will be a shiwcase for your future generations.

A great presentation for a great product.No scooter can come near this for its ROBUST BUILT & TROUBLE FREE RIDE without much maintenance.The only drawback is its low mileage & ground clearance.I am still having 1994 model in running condition which I am finding very difficult to service due to reluctance of scooter mechanics to do the same.
