My submission and breakdown for @pwnisher's #Kinetic Rush challenge, it took me 27 days of work and 25 hours of rendering for this scene, I used Blender, Marvelous Designer, Embergen, Geoscatter, zbrush and Quixel.
Really really amazing, guaranteed top 100! There's a lot that I would watch about this project, for example how u made the trees, optimization of the project.
Thanks!! I hope so! About the trees, if you use Blender, duplicate them as an instance, using Alt + D, or use some scatter addon like Bagapie, it will be very light in the render!
Is that Mononoke? Deserves an instant like. Very bautiful scenery, such a lush forest is just awesome. Though I wonder, how your animation would have impacted, if you went for actual anime style? One piece of criticism, the tails of the wolves aren't animated very nicely. Are they animated at all or are they physics based? The good thing is, you don't recognize it if you don't look for it. I only recognized because of the breakdown shots. Great work no matter what?
Yes, it's a Mononoke!! I tried to put my own style, not that I don't like the anime style, the movie is perfect for that, but I wanted to do something of my own and not completely copy the movie for the challenge, yes, the wolf's tail was a problem, I tried to use physics but together with the hair it didn't work out very well, as it appears very little in the scene I ended up focusing on fixing other things, thank you!
Thank you for your reply. I see that the fire on arrow effect on body of this character. nice. If you can ( if you can Please) make a video for this character how you did on Photoshop and on blender. Thank you.. by the way: I need to do like this character ( ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9acxn7qAST4.html) BUT I could not as I cannot do the skin. I hope you can help in this matter to do like this skin with my respect to your above project.
