I can't remember where they posted it, but I remember reading Callous' story from Incredible Dream somewhere: He was an immortal who was infected by a disease that took away his Immortality. He's working on a cure for the disease (the progress on his card are how far away he is) and if he heals himself he becomes immortal again and can't be stopped.
Your plays and review of earlier games are why I bought the first two, and I will be buying the third. No regrets, I've had a good time every playthrough, even when I've lost or had to stop play early due to time. Took the game with me to Origins and had a pickup game of an evening, I think we all had a great time.
After seeing your videos and Rodney's on these games, I bought the first two and preordered the third 😂 not sure yet about the Chronicles, but will look it for sure! Thank you :)
Chronicles was fun to play through once for me and the family, but I don't think it'll be a keeper for me like the 3 Delve sets are. We just played 3-player last night and had a blast, as usual :)
@@marielaporte4668 Chronicles solo avoids my biggest complaint with the game, the initiative bag. With solo it's not a big deal if one hero gets 4 turns and another gets 0. But playing multiplayer, when it was my wife who was getting 0 turns, wasn't always ideal :)

And I still haven't played Tales from the Red Dragon Inn 🤦 so many games and so little time :( lol I still can't figure out how you do it, I need your trick 😂 Anyway, thx for the infos :) Will try the 2 players with my boyfriend first, then we'll see :)
For bosses, I think I'd pick Scorn. He's been the toughest both difficulty-wise and choice-wise for us. I love all the delve decks for their unique elements, so no preference there. For characters... maybe the first set? But dang it's hard to choose, cause they are all lots of fun.
I'll be picking this up and I might try using the Exhaustion cards in this set w/ the others,. I'm not really a fan of the auto-loss conditions from the Exhaustion decks.
I recently scored a very cheap copy of the first two. Amazing component quality, but just not at all fun for us. My buddy and I played one game of it and both agreed that we didn't enjoy it at all. I don't know why it didn't work for us, but boy is it a pretty game!
