That’s a good point. Working dogs have a coat that says - do not pet ot words to that effect. These horses should not be touched. People are too stupid to realise that they are military horses. Saw a lovely video of a military dog at work. The handler suddenly gave the lead to the dog, a Labrador, and gave a hand signal. Then the lab ran around, rolled around, acted crazy for a few minutes then lay down next to his handler again. That was his break time and was off duty. The dog though asked for the break by his own signalling method, so the handler acted on. Guess the dog knew it needed to break out of its ‘good well trained dog’ for a bit of playtime. Was a fascinating watch as I didn’t know that was part of their training. Boy, did that dog co crazy for a bit, but only ever 10 ft from his handler.

They are not stupid . It’s the tourist that are at fault , the horses are doing their job, a lot of people are just pure idiots 🇬🇧mon

And why would you bring a dog to see the horse, the poor dog is scared of the horse and the woman is too stupid to figure that out.

Yes & it gets worse. I feel the vistors should not be allowed to go so close to the horses. Im City of London born & bred and from a child a regular visitor to the Mall & Horse Guards Parade etc am living abroad for many years. Always travelled to London regularly though & have moved with the times & accepted the changes. What I see now on these channels is a confirmation of the dumbed down world we live in, the lack of courtesy & basic common sense. And of course no knowledge of equine etiquette. Love to ask the horse what he thinks.😂

Not to mention the little dog she was holding close to the horse's face looked scared to death. She was being disrespectful to the guard , horse, dog and all the other people waiting. Was she concerned? Only for herself.

As an American I have to agree. They can photograph from a distance. Why do they even need to be in the picture. I rather wish the cops would do more to keep them back. Just give the horse and guard so respect!!

If one horse is playing up more than the other one, then the video person will focus on that one more because the horse will more than likely play up in some form or another, i.e., prodding, pulling at or biting people to not get so close or simply trying to make it clear to his rider that he doesn't want to be in the box today. Viewers are fascinated by this and want to see what will happen.
