I saw these guys live when the supported Slipknot in London and they were incredible. This recording is a joke. They were insane live so don't judge them by this.
People can bitch all they want about King but about 90% complain about things that are tropes of hardcore in general. And I really don't understand the argument that they sound "commercial". Is it because the songs are catchy or something? I dunno how many people here actually know anything about Flint MI but I live here and I can honestly tell you that it's a really fucked up place and that these dudes are legitimately hard as hell because of it. But at the end of the day you either like the music or you don't. I like it, they're heavy, vocalist has his own thing that's sort of cheesy but I really enjoy, and if you don't like that then whatever, good for you.
This a bad example of what these guys are capable of live when I saw them in Australia they where amazing one of the best band of the two day festival they put on such a great show I think either this video is shit quality or they just weren't feeling it that day
This whole idea and performance works SIGNIFICANTLY better both live and not at an outside performance. If you've seen them live on the Prepare for Hell tour, you know this. Dude's had a hell of a stage presence.
Saw these guys live in Oslo when they warmed up for Slipknot yesterday. They were a lot better than on this video. I had never heard any of their music before, but I liked it. The bass player was all over the place, the guitarist stood still most of the time and didn't move that much. It was still cool, but the best part was Slipknot
This sucks so muuuch.. Let's at least throw some arguments in there : - Seriously, I think ANYONE with a very little knowledge in guitar and just knowing that droped tuning/powerchords exists would compose this poop in less than 5 minutes.., but besides that it seriously sounds like these guy are amateurs, it feels so empty - Is that a screamer ? (and comon dont come at me saying "yeeah he has his own way of singing" no, it's just shit dude - Is that lyrics ? I would wright this at 5 y/o - I dont know but it seems to me that they where either signed because they knew someone in the industry or just because roadrunner needed a commercial band (I know every band is commercial but you know what I mean, it "sounds" commercial)
You should learn to spell first before you comment talking shit. 1. He was sick that morning 2. listen to their actual recordings 3. Id like to see what you can do
I'm French and you can still understand what I wrote, dont get mad about my english, that's not the point I listened to their official video for this one and other stuff and I keep the same opinion Just look at the comments, it's not even like I was the only one thinking that Just go forth and know your metal culture for a second, compare, see how this is shit Look at : Reflections Born Of Osiris (allright those are bands that have crazy soloists, I cheated lol check this :) For Today -> simple metalcore but still 10 000 time better The Devil Wears Prada -> same. Never complicated music, but still better, emotional, real lyrics I'm not saying it has to be complicated but this.. is childish music
I saw them two nights ago in England and they were incredible. Seriously mate, give them a chance, listen to the full album if you haven't done so already.
I saw these guys at Soundwave this year in South Australia and they were a hell of a lot better than on here, I also watched Slipknot's live footage from this festival and saw them at Soundwave too and they also sounded about 5x better live than on here. The audio mixing was just generally really poor, so for those who think King 810 is bad live, I would definitely reserve judgement until you see them because they were bloody excellent.
Just saw these guys last month and they were crazy. Every band has a bad performance now and then (apart from Judas Priest). I have also noticed that the recording of bands playing Knotfest are not the greatest, the sound is quite flat.
Man they were a lot better as a warm-up for Slipknot at Copenhagen PrepareForHellTour. Had heard one of their songs before but their music rocked the place. Really nice warm-up for a band such as Slipknot.
I like the instrumental portion of this song. I do feel the vocalist could use some help though, as well as lyrical wise. There is potential for something better here.
