That's a bit of media exaggeration to be honest. They reported that Ed Sheeran turned him down when in reality Sheeran has denied it saying he was never asked. They also reported that Elton was Diana's friend and therefore wouldn't perform, which is nonsense because he's friends with Charles. Charles and Camilla were at his wedding which was held at Windsor Castle. So, take media reports with a grain of salt.
