Only 22 days after Pink Floyd releases Dark Side of the Moon, King Crimson issues Larks' Tongues in Aspic, a next level album that opens up phase 2 for Crimson. The new band includes Fripp, Wetton, Bruford, Cross, and Muir. Lyrics are by Richard Palmer-James of Supertramp fame.
