I don't understand why rock radio stations don't play King Crimson. They're more than happy to keep playing the same Led Zep, Ac/dc, Aerosmith, Black Sabbath, Metallica, songs but they won't make any room for KC! Does KC owe them any money? Is that why?
Completely agree, it's ridiculous when I think about how often I hear all of those bands you mentioned, and yet NEVER have I heard any King Crimson (if my memory serves me correctly).
The point of these radio stations was to advertise drugs, King Crimson is completely drug-free and has been since around 1972. Other bands who reject drugs, like Zappa, are also blacklisted.
I realized the other day I have been listening to and living with this song for 20 years. Unbelievable. Every now and then it comes back and gives me focus and comfort. It is a recondite masterpiece for the initiated! Thanks KC.
This is truly timeless. This song is not bound by time. It’s like I could have heard in 1979 or 1985…The words were already there, just waiting to be sung by Adrian Belew.

I consider "One Time" a good atmospheric and sad song. Somehow, it brings me some nostalgia feelings, combined with the idea of contemporary human anxieties and fragilities.
How is it this only has 38k views? I must have viewed it 38k times. Another of Crimson's spectacular 'lovey dovey' songs. The ones you play for the girlfriend. This style of music, whatever it is called is an inspiration to stretch the boundaries of composition.

23 yo going on a prog rock rabbit hole..... Damn, this band is kinda like Pink Floyd but using stronger drugs than shrooms or something. Idk, i can't explain shit. Either way, i might not know anything about the band nor understand everything they're singing about, but i'm really growing to love their stuff as weird as it is... It's truly beautiful

So basically, in this song King Crimson laid out how Radiohead was going to sound from 2008 onwards. I mean... come on... this could be on "In Rainbows" or "King of Limbs". So gorgeous.
For as much as I love Tom Yorke, I could not hear him reaching the smoothness that Adrian Bellew projects here, that deep twang in his voice is something I just can’t hear out of Yorke.
Is this the only studio version of this song? The one I was listening to for years is a bit different and shorter than this one and I can't find out where that's from.
