In the normal timeline, Giorno Giovanna is the one found worthy of the arrows power. But what if Diavolo was found worthy first? Giorno would tense up as he sees King Crimson transform, but in typical KC fashion the transformation is skipped over. Giorno rushes Diavolo regardless, but Mista tackles Giorno. Begging this stranger to get away. Perplexed, Giorno asks whats gotten into Mista, and why he called him a stranger? Mista is suprised this nobody in a pink suit knows who he is. He had never been to Rome before! Giorno begins to panic, asking Trish, Mista, anyone if he knows who he is. They all shake their heads no. Giorno flips out his drivers liscense, finding it to be nothing but a blank piece of plastic. Realizing Diavolo was still near, Giorno turns to face him when he finds, no one? Nobody but this pink haired stranger. "Hey you, where the hell is, is, damn it I knew his name before. But the Boss! Where is he?" Giorno yells. But the man doesnt respond, he simply smiles, waves at Giorno and walks away, content with his new ability and arrow. It begins to dawn on Giorno "His ability, no his Requiem. It removes ones own identity, their very impact from the world itself. I've been completely and utterly-" "Forgotten" KC Requiem appears behind Giorno's shadow, as it finishes Giorno's sentence, a devilishly wide grin on its new face. "And thats all you ever will be till the end of time, Giorno Giovanna. The lowest of the low, even if you try to forge new alliances, those who knew you before will immediately forget anything about you as soon as they have a "memory" of you. Leaving no space for new memories to form". Giorno didnt know what to do, for the first time since he was a child he felt utterly helpless. He collapsed onto the ground like he did as a baby, huddling into himself in complete silence. The silence was broken by Requiem's whisper. "This is your fate, and all others who dare to oppose me, Giorno Giovanna. This world cannot know my identity, so those who do know of it are cast out of this world. I feel like the only reason diavolo wasnt "pierced" by the arrow because of his separation from doppio. Doppio is like the part of him that stayed young, and diavolo is the part of him continued to grow. Its literally a play on time erase. You erase the cause from the effect. You erase the start from the end. You erase your childhood from your total life. By doing this, he got rid of a chunk of himself that a regular person is shaped by. His thirst for the results and only the results led to his demise.

It would have been cool if instead of looking angry, King Crimson Requiem looks content and smug, finally able to relax knowing he will never be dethroned from the Apex of reality

It really portrays the hopelessness Giorno and his allies would've felt if King Crimson Requiem was summoned. They would realise the futility in their cause, and see that Diavolo was right all along. Abbachio and Narancia as well as Polnareff died for nothing, as well as Bruno. Mista and Trish are killed, with Diavolo finishing off Giorno after mocking him . Diavolo is victorious and soon replaces those loyalists who died to the traitors. Him and his new elite guard soon demolish the rival gangs and take over Italy. No one ever challenges Diavolo's position again, as those who do are swiftly disposed of.

This gave me some serious shivers down my spine, very well done!

plot twist Diavolo's goal was for no one to know his identity, however the requiem stand backfires and erases him from existence, ensuring that *no one* would ever find out his identity.

Imagine GER and KCR fighting as the universe around them is falling apart, now THAT would be an ending

Imagine if this stand can just erase people, memories and even see alternate universes. If someone tries to find any hints related to the boss then they'll get 'Thanos snapped'

I love how the design has hints of GER mixed into it. *At this point, to Diavolo, there is no such thing as Hell anymore, thus, he ruled over not only Italy and the Earth itself, he ruled over the entire Solar System and The Milky Way. There were none who could ever oppose him, until a strange man-bird-like thing crash in Earth.*

Given that requiem abilities depend on the will of the user at the time they used the arrow (SCR protects the arrow, GER can give out the ultimate punishment to Diavolo) KCR would probably have an ability that has to do with nobody knowing his identity. I think his ability would be simply erasing. Erasing time, people, memories, possibilities, and whatever else Diavolo wants gone. But I also think Epitaph would evolve as well, letting him know what will happen in the infinite future with limitless range and would even know all possibilities for a different future, not just a single one that will always come true. King Crimson is already much stronger than both Silver Chariot and Gold Experience, therefore I think his Requiem stand would be absolutely broken, matching the power of a God. If Diavolo got the arrow during the final fight, his King Crimson would become King Crimson Requiem and erase Trish. Then, Diavolo would erase the entire Mafia's (including Giorno, Mista and Fugo) memories, ambitions and unwanted personality traits, making them the perfect servants. When this is done, he erases anyone's memory of him and everyone's will to find out who he is. This way, nobody knows or wants to know who Passione's boss is, his biggest mistake, Triss, never existed in the first place. He even erases his own mortality so he can live forever. Thinking his perfect outcome has been achieved, he uses Epitaph to make sure nothing in the future will get in the way of his life, seeing all possible outcomes. He searches every outcome and event that happens in this universe. He sees Pucci and the possibility of him resetting the universe. He erases Pucci, erasing that possibility as well. He sees the end of the universe and the point at which it resets. Knowing that would mean he would have to go through all of this again, he erases the ending point of the universe, making himself truly eternal and godlike. However, one possibility flashes through his mind... Gold Experience Requiem existing. Although almost impossible, since Epitaph searches every single infinite possibility in an instant, this possibility exists and when he tries to erase it, he can't. That's the effect of GER in action. He erases Giorno to delete that possibility, but it's still there. In a desperate attempt to make that possibility go away, he erases everything but himself, but that possibility remains. Anything is possible even if extremely unlikely. Even the smallest percentage above 0% is not impossible. He tries to erase the entire universe itself, but he can't. That's a paradoxical situation since he already erased the universe's end. The only option left is to accept his fate.

I see other people in the comments theorizing about KCR's potential abilities, so I think I'll give it a shot, too. If Gold Experience Requiem has the ability to return all actions to zero, effectively making it so that they never happen, and thus "never reach the truth", then King Crimson Requiem's ability (in addition to buffed time erasure and prediction abilities) would be to erase the very "truth" of reality itself. This would extend to Diavolo, who could use the ability to erase the "truth" of his own existence from the universe, thereby granting himself perfect anonymity. Like with King Crimson's world of erased time, this realm outside of the "truth" of reality wouldn't let Diavolo interact with the rest of the universe, but it'd allow him to position himself for even better sneak attacks. After all, you can't fight something that literally doesn't exist anymore, nor can you return its actions to zero. This ability could also be used in conjunction with erasing time. King Crimson Requiem would also be able to use this ability to erase "truth" offensively, and anyone attacked by this ability would not only immediately cease to exist, the truth of their existence would slowly be retroactively scrubbed from the fabric of reality. Memories, pictures, and any imprint left upon the world by someone erased by KCR would eventually disappear from the world, and it'd be as if they were never born (very useful for when the condom breaks). Instead of "never reaching the truth" of death, you simply never were "truth" to begin with. This ability would perfectly counter GER's ability, since the only things that can't be returned to zero are infinity and nonexistence. Zero, after all, represents a _quantity_ of nothing but not nothing *itself.* Of course, because Diavolo would necessarily have to exit the world of "erased truth" to attack, GER would be able to return any attacks by KCR to zero... until Diavolo erases the "truth" of his existence again. It'd be an eternal cycle of erasing existence, preparing to attack, returning to zero, and erasing existence again with no clear victor in sight. Like Yin and Yang, the two sides would counteract and counterbalance each other, neither side ever achieving victory.

King Crimson Requiem can see and "erase" events of future, past, and present. Anyone who might have presented a challenge will retroactively cease to exist. Time has no meaning. Diavolo will reign forever and unknown, the shadow king.

The art is great. I love how Epitaph is replaced with a red triangle, as if Diavolo no longer needs it, showing a mastery over all time. I guess it could also symbolize no longer needing/having Doppio to keep him hidden. Either way, beautiful artwork and a beautiful track, exactly what I would want to play in the anime if this happened

KING CRIMSON REQUIEM: (aka KCR) Namesake: King Crimson (band), "In the Court of the Crimson King" ( song by King Crimson) User: Diavolo Stats: Destructive Power: null Speed: null Range: null Persistence: null Precision: null Dev potential: null Stand type: sentient, close-range Personality: KCR, much like his user, only cares about the results and doesn't care what he does to accomplish them. He is also seen to be a statistic, often wanting to see bloodshed and psychotically laughing at random times. He firmly doesn't believe in honor, as he continuously disrespects his user's enemies and belittles them and their actions, as he quotes "it's useless as I can see that coming!". As a sentient stand, he prefers to be identified as a "he", as he is almost like another human being in conscience and personality. He often secretly questions plenty of things such as his user's morals, but he denounces this as an effect of gaining almost human-like sentience from the requiem arrow. Abilities: Time Travel: KCR has the ability to "erase" the flow of time and replacing with his and his user's own "flexible" flow of time. This, in turn, allows both him and Diavolo to time travel 20 minutes into the future or the past, allowing Diavolo to kill someone before they realized they have died. How this ability works is that as Diavolo and KCR are time traveling, they are replaced by a "ghostly version" of themselves as everyone remains conscious at the point of the present time. Only when Diavolo and KCR return do the changes apply. Enhanced Epitaph and Time Erase: These abilities remain the same, but KCR can erase time for 20 seconds and can interact with the world in this period of erased time. Epitaph lasts a shorter amount of time, 14-15 seconds, but can show both the results and the process in which to achieve this result, despite Diavolo's "only the results matter" mentality. Instead of Diavolo being able to use Epitaph by using his hair to show the future, KCR shares his vision of the future, which Diavolo sees in his left eye. Appearance: Similar to his original, involved version, he has crimson with checker/diamond-like patterns across his body, but the white is replaced with a blood-red, with a black hooded cape which is held on him by a medal with the initials KC in a dark crimson surrounding the requiem arrow colored with a mix of black and dark red, and the hood covering his head. His arms and legs appear to have "thorns" growing out of them while having claw-like hands and demon-like legs. There is a purple-red gem where epitaph should be, while two long, demonic horns grow from his head and poking through his hood via two holes. Instead of two faces, he has two sets of eyes, one being his original version's green, eyesocket-bulging eyes, and another smaller pair of eyes below, them being the eyes of epitaph. He appears to have an eyepatch over his larger left eye, as to obtain the power of requiem, KC had to stab itself in the said eye to be able to obtain it. However, it is quoted by Diavolo that KCR does not need the eyepatch, but KCR prefers to keep it on as it serves as a reminder of the work his user had to accomplish for him to reach a godly power. He refuses to talk about his long, demonic tail as he deems it a "pointless subject" but often secretly questions why he has it. oh boy, was this a waste time to type, lol

Diavolo achieves King Crimson Requiem, but is not worthy and his stand goes berzerk, erasing Diavolo from existence itself. King Crimson Requiem them just walks away and nobody can stop it

As terrifying as the idea of Diavolo obtaining and successfully using the Requiem Arrow! I'm not gonna lie, the beginning of the song gave me shivers. It kinda sounds like something straight from a horror game! Also, the "time skips" and the other sound glitches are pretty cool!

Not very good at writing..but this is what I think would happen. The requiem was in his reach..and he took it. Diavolo felt the sting of the arrow, and saw his stand morph and mutate, it's final form and potential finally in his reach. The others stand in horror as King Crimson emerges, a new, darker form inhabiting it. The Epitaph gone, died along with it's previous, weaker form. Seemingly on cue, Diavolo sends forth King Crimson, Giorno his first target. The hot pink haired man laughs, his victory secured. But nothing happens... Confused, Diavolo tries again, and notices that his attacks go through the blonde man, as if he was mere air they pass through him. Diavolo becomes enraged, and screams into the silence, noticing not the fact that his stand has disappeared. And for the first time in what seemed like an eternity..a voice.. "Is this not what you wanted?" "What?" Diavolo turns, King Crimson Requiem standing before him, freed from the shackles of Diavolo. It stands, floating slightly above the ground, as a sickening red energy flows throughout it. Without the control of Diavolo, the stand is almost regal in tone..like a true king. "You wished to disappear, nobody shall know of your identity..where you came from..who you are..I served your desire, and erased you" Diavolo stands silent, finally realizing the impact of his situation. He finally got what he had wanted for so long..but now that it was in his hands..he saw the true aspect of what he wished..and he was frightened. King Crimson Requiem continues speaking, having waited for his previous user to realize what it had just done. "You wished to be unknown to everyone..now..nobody shall ever know of your existence..past or future..Goodbye" Diavolo finally speaks. "NO! This isn't what I wanted, This isn't what I-" But it's too late, His stand gone, he is left, gone from time, and gone from existence. He is left to wander a frozen universe, and ponder if he truly desired to disappear..Eventually, insanity falls upon Diavolo..and the spark of thought within him is destroyed. King Crimson Requiem stands before the gang, without a master, and without purpose..silently, he walks away..having fulfilled his master's purpose, The gang sees the now freed stand disappear among the buildings, an eternal wanderer of the world. Part Five End

It's absolutely perfect. And utterly creepy.

Man, now I want to watch an alternate ending where Diavolo gets the arrow and gets KCR. I like how you manage to mix some heavy and creepy stuff with a calm and yet ominous piano. This track is pretty cool, keep up the good work, can't wait to see you improve!

A stand that already was beyond the reach of the remaining three, taking away the only hope of ever defeating it and making it his own, taking his level about a billion times higher. It's *terror.* Not any usual type of horror, but the one sensation that the only feeling you'll ever get is that..it's over. He _won._ And not only that, you were the one that gave him that power. You were the one that gave him the pathway to godhood. You do not know what it can do anymore. You do not know where it is, anymore. The only thing you do know, is that it's over. _you're dead._

Well it's very fitting with my vision of KCR so I'm quite glad for this. Definitely sounding like some unholy abomination just rose and there's nothing stopping it now. If your 21st Century Schizoid Man was meant to show how frightening Diabolo was with KC's power, then I believe this describes entirely the state of things when KCR awakes : First the world gets warped, and then there's Diabolo's relief as he knows he can truly rest now that his identity can never ever be discovered. Kudos to you once again.

Epitaph is what was left of Doppio seeing it gone is kinda sad, he may have been a gangstar but he had his innocence. Diavolo never truly cared for the man who was his downfall.

What if KCR actually happened? What if Part 5's ending never happened the way that we prescribed it? What if KCRs ability was to manipulate reality and the gang members are each trapped in their own reality but the true reality is that Diavolo got the arrow and continued his life ruling Passione and no one knowing who he is. Would explain why Giorno wasn't in part 6

Diavolo, predicting time, lets out a smile on his face. His future showed a sight of Diavolo unlocking, reaching requiem. Time resumes, and Diavolo and King Crimson *Requiem* appears. It’s almost like the entrance to hell was just beneath them. For example, you know what will happen if you jump off a tall building. But under KCR's effect, you dont know what will happen. This ability affect the entire world exept Diavolo himself. The stand has a secondary ability that completely erase the existence of anything that hurt Diavolo, and change reality to make it like that thing never existed. Diavolo is not affected by the reality manipulation. It would be so fucking cool to have this stand against GER for the final battle instead of a simple beatdown. And the part between 2:54 and 3:28 would fit so much the battle between the two requiem stands in the sort of space that appear during time skip

Diavolo is one of the most well thought out and ironic villains of JJBA. His ability, his thoughts, his action and even his cause of death are all examples of this Edit: don’t have the time right now, but if you have seen the other comments, you will see hundreds and maybe thousands of why his cause of death/events that took place were caused by his wanting for results, etc

I hope you all don’t mind if I write a little something. Here we go. At last, Diavolo reaches his goal of Requiem. His stand looks terrifying now, and it’s demonic eyes lock with Giorno’s. He feels a jolt of adrenaline as this thing, this Stand, has given it’s user uncanny power. Left with his weaker Gold Experience, he has no choice but to battle Diavolo. Diavolo, in his surge of power, smiles wickedly. “You are all fools,” he snarls. “Don’t you see that I have unseen power? Power that can destroy someone? That is what came upon all who discovered me, and that will now come upon you.” In a rush of fear, Giorno attempts to barrage at Diavolo, but the requiem stand grabs Gold Experience’s wrist. Then, he initiates a time stop, trapping the two in the realm of timeless space. “Giorno Giovanna, you’ve gone too far past this line I have drawn.” Diavolo says. “Now you must pay.” He prepares King Crimson Requiem for a deadly donut attack. But at that moment, Giorno realizes something Diavolo doesn’t. Diavolo’s form…it’s becoming oddly translucent. That’s when it hits Diavolo that something went wrong. His Stand, it reacted the same way. “What!” Diavolo cried as his form became clearer and dimmer. Giorno realizes what happened. “Diavolo, I’m afraid…your plan backfired.” he says, able to communicate as the time stop ends. But the effects weren’t erased…Diavolo’s power is fading. “This wasn’t supposed to happen! I…” Diavolo screams in fury and fear, realizing that the Requiem arrow granted his wish in a literal way. He was going to be…erased. As his limbs began to dissolve, Diavolo cried, reaching out to Giorno, who stood helplessly, watching as Diavolo was erased from reality completely. All he wanted was no one to know him. To remember him. And the arrow grants the users exact wish. So, Diavolo was forever erased.

this sounds a lot like the infinity war ending theme edit: the KC jumpscare at the end probably means diavolo donutted giorno (& everyone else?) instantly

ok so i hope this isnt a copy but what if it ISNT KCR what if its like BTD, where it gains a new ability and a new name King Crimson: He Who Rules KC:HHR (or just H for He) has three abilities 1st ability: Judge Judge puts everybody in a hallucination that they are in a black box, rapidly closing. When they are crushed, H is automatically summoned, using a scythe to slice them up, along with being crushed. If they survive, then Jury activates, the 2nd ability. Jury makes clones of H and the victim is put in the space of erased time, where they sit tied in a chair. The clones then bring forth the sins of the victim. When the judging period is over, they are barraged by each clone of H. The amount of clones is the amount of sins. If they survive THAT, then Executioner activates, the 3rd and final ability. Executioner does not dwell in any illusion or hynosis. Diavolo has full control of H, and H holds the scythe from Judge's illusion. Executioner does not stop attacking until the victim is either dead, or swears eternal loyalty to Diavolo and his True Passione. If they swear loyalty, the victim is healed and must serve Diavolo, or they are killed by Judge's black box. Diavolo is Judge, Jury, and Executioner. He is King Crimson: He Who Rules.. You are not safe. Check your windows. Hide your stand. And most importantly.. check your memory. You never know who is truly in charge, unless you know He. HE is in charge. Never forget. I might as well give you my idea since everyone else is. When approached with an enemy, King Crimson Requiem would summon a burning red, demon-like sword. He could then skip time to appear behind them, then pierce the sword through them. This would then allow Diavolo to completely change the targets *future actions and properties* from a tiny change, such as a cut on their chest, or completely turning a body into rust.*Since the sword changes actions too, enemies could be made to reveal information if needed to*. My design for KCR was a bit different though, he would have 2 horns curling upwards on his forehead and in between them would be Epitaph with an Epitaph on his forehead then an Epitaph on that head etc. He would have the arrow in his chest facing upwards, and his chest armour would have cracks in it filled with lava and his legs would have armour that goes up to his knee (this would have lava too). For the Sword’s summoning, his left hand would shoot lava out of it then the lava would freeze in place then quickly clump together to form the Sword. Epitaph Requiem’s ability isn’t finished yet but I had the basic idea of showing Diavolo the next enemy that would appear before him, however far in the further that is. Epitaph Requiem will also have glowing eyes. If you managed to read this far, thank you. Because I have been thinking of a truly original ability and design for KCR for days!

It was as if a coincidence happens Diavolo reads the premonition after Gold Experience stabs itself with the arrow. The premonition plays revealing a mechanic eye hidden on the former husk of Gold Experience. Diavolo terrified of what he sees instinctively grabs the arrow. Knowing the outcome is finale the looming feeling of dread overcomes Diavolo that what lies inside the husk of Gold Experience will be the key to finish him. He yelled if the arrow don't find me worthy i will take my destiny for myself. He stabs his own hand with the requiem arrow using King Crimson leaving a giant hole in his palm. As the prediction from Epitaph plays the arrow flew to Golden Experience hand piercing it. However as if the string of fate split into two a light comes out from Diavolo hand. King Crimson red glow turns dark purple as if King Crimson itself is evolving. The dust clears Gold Experience Requiem seen floating in the air with its user basking in yellow sunlight. Diavolo knowing what will happens prepare himself as GER launches a projectile piercing Diavolo's hand. The nearby wall crumbles, some of the rocks turn into scorpions, one lauches itself at Diavolo. Diavolo cut away the poisoned skin. Preparing to attack Diavolo activate KC and blinds Giorno with his blood only for GER to interfere and resetting his action to zero. Panicked Diavolo prepares himself. Mista! Giorno screams, it looked as if Mista ran towards Diavolo to protect him from GER punches. Giorno stood for a while trying to stomach what was happening. GER activate its ability, every action rewinds. This time a gut feeling told Giorno to commands Mista to back down. Once again GER prepares its fist to pummel Diavolo. Sprinting full speed towards Diavolo, As if by chance or bad luck Giorno founds GER pummeling Trish this time. Both Mista and Giorno shocked, immediately Giorno stops GER. He told Mista to tend Trish asap. Giorno was sure before he was heading towards Diavolo. Trish heavily injured from GER punches fell unconscious. It was as if the world is protecting or rather preventing Diavolo away from danger. Giorno still determined to kill the boss rush towards Diavolo, only to have the building that GER destroy its walls off collapses leaving a cloud of dust and ruins. GER activates once again to the moment before the whole side of the building collapse. Giorno attempt to send an eagle to attack Diavolo, suddenly the water tower at the top of the next building explodes, the water knocks the eagle into the river killing it. It seems like nothing can hurt the boss now. Diavolo can be heard laughing on the other side of the collapsed building. Giorno! Both Mista and Trish yells to him in pain, trapped under the pile of broken walls. Giorno runs out to tend and rescue them. "Giorno, even though you have the arrow, your truth will be rendered meaningless as long as i have the world under my control. Nothing you will do can kill me. This is the power of *King Crimson: Fallen Angel*". The voice of Diavolo slowly fades into the distance. The dust settles, Diavolo is nowhere to be seen.
