The way you guys are breaking down this album song by song, is great, so insightful, i could only dream of having conversations like this about King Diamond albums with my friends. I couldn’t really understand some of the lyrics beforehand, but now just hearing people just talk about the intricacies of the lyrics-as there are things to read into. Y’all are doing so good. Much appreciated.
The DID thing is featured in the movie Split, which is the second film in a trilogy based on comic book heroes and alternate identities and whatnot. See the "Eastrail 177 Trilogy" : Unbreakable (2000), Split (2017), Glass (2019).
King refers to his father..kind of a ghost…he is talkin to his father and asking For firgivness and guidance..tjats why he is fading away..then he says.understood somehow his father tells him to take him down
The lyrics to this track always confused me, making it one of of my least faves on the album, except for the second half, which I call "Going Down", because it differs from the "Daddy" half.
