In this week’s episode of the Indie’N Folk Project, we are honored to host the illustrious rapper, Hustle Season 1 finalist, and celebrated artist, King. Known for his chart-topping hits like ‘Maan Meri Jaan,’ ‘Tu Aake Dekhle,’ ‘G.O.A.T Shit,’ ‘Oops,’ and ‘Tum Saath Rehna,’ as well as his blockbuster albums ‘Champagne Talk,’ ‘NEW LIFE,’ and ‘The Carnival,’ King has consistently delivered musical brilliance. Now, he returns to the scene with his latest hip hop masterpiece, ‘Monopoly Moves,’ featuring tracks like ‘GOAT SHIT,’ ‘STILL THE SAME,’ ‘WAY BIGGER,’ ‘BAWE MEIN CHECK,’ ‘MISFIT,’ ‘KODAK,’ ‘SAZA,’ and ‘PYAAR HUMARA.’ Anticipation is high as six new tracks are set to drop on August 2, 2024, across all streaming platforms.
The interview begins with King quoting a line from his song, ‘tera badla zamane se lunga,’ to which a commenter remarked that he is still grappling with the aftermath.
Peeyush then inquires about the last time King cried, to which he candidly responds that it was just a few days ago while penning his verse for ‘WAR CRY,’ a collaboration with the acclaimed rapper Raftaar.
