i love how KGLW’s music always sounds so esoteric, like you’re learning about the lost history of humanity or gaining insight into our future. Its like opening an ancient tome of symbols and stuff.
Good way to describe them. I find their strongest influences to be 13th Floor Elevators, Syd Barrett, Turkish Psych Rock, Middle Eastern Music, and bubble gum pop (songs like Kepler 22b , Magenta Mountain, Sleep Drifter etc for the pop influence). I like all their albums. But psychedelia is definitely their strongest area.
Mine too, and despite loving so much of their music, this is the album I would take with me to Mars if I could only take one. Something about Polygonwandaland that pulls me in everytime I hear it.
very nice stuff i would of put the first song crumbling castle somewhere in the middle or end other than that gotta check out more of ur stuff because this is wicked
