definitely my favorite of the new songs. ambrose's screaming always gets to me.

The ability to bring music all the way to the edge of chaos, where you think it's all going to fall apart, but still hold it together and keep it sounding gorgeous...that's what happened here

I swear KEXP is some kind of magical nexus that appears midway through long tours where the genius of a song's writing and composition is paired with the hermetic air tightness of untold live shows and somehow captures something that is impossible to even think about recording in a studio or any other performance.

I'm an old rocker from the 80's metal scene. I dug the 90's something fierce. Not since then, have I been impressed....until discovering King Gizz. My Gen Z kiddo turned me onto them. As young as they are, they have hall of fame potential, heck, they may already be there(in my opinion, they are). Gives me a lot of hope for this next generation.

The riff at 5:14, and Amby just belting at 5:30, will forever give me chills. Need this released please!

This is the thing that sets King Gizzard apart from even other psych bands, the studio version of this sounds like an impromptu psych jam but the bar that the guitar solo becomes a refrain, the drums recognise that and go heavy on the bell to accentuate it. It seems free flowing but it’s all heavily orchestrated. Even in a 10 minute song everyone knows their part at all times. Fucking excellent

Gizz should just release a full KEXP live album. Just sayin...they sound great in that studio!!

I am a metal head through and through. Buddy recommended this band and I fell in love the moment I heard that sax. What a fantastic combination of styles and sounds. I can listen to this song over and over and just focus in on different instruments. 10/10 very epic band

I'm on day 2 of "discovering" these guys and man they're fuckin amazing! I haven't been blown away like this by anything "new" in a while. Looking forward to checking out their catalog which, from what I've seen in comments, is quite extensive.

The Grateful Dead and Phish paved the way for jam bands like this to thriiive. Its honestly incredible how talented these guys are.

My favorite all time band since Radiohead. To be able to put out this quality of music in such a short time frame is truly a special accomplishment. However pessimistic I may be about modern rock these guys give me hope. A truly singular band. No one is comparable

I can’t believe these guys are actually real, holy shit!

this track is so intense, it builds up into a tornado of sounds, almost feeling claustrophobic...I feel on edge and anxious but just at the right moment before it becomes too much ( 8:30 ) the storm passes and you're plonked on a quiet beach and it's calm and relaxed. The anxiety is ripped away and replaced with a zen-like feeling...it's so freaking good!

This is my first foray into this band (I'd heard good things but never took the time to listen) and I was already vexed going into the video as I had to sit through 40 seconds of unskippable ads and thought to myself "this better be good!" By Christ was it fucking good!

These guys are amazing, and the best part of them is, that they're not envious of each-other, they know the gift they have and the bond they have created, no one thinks of themselves as better than the next guy. Its exciting to be alive to experience the The Lizard.

Gizz functions perfectly as an orchestra organism. The perfection of this studio makes them truly shine. Production is impeccable. KEXP forever the best.

The official video version of this appeared randomly in my feed last November and I think I’ve listened to it every day since! Best new song in a decade for me. I get strong Yes vibes from this, like Heart of the sunrise or south side of the sky-Fragile era feel. Its perfect, and the A.I. animated studio version of this song is one of the coolest things ive seen.

You're definitely blowing fresh air into the psychedelic genre with with controlled chaotic approach! Taking the essence of classic psychedelic musics longevity and then turning up the pace is doing wonders to the genre!

I like how they take turns. Very Roxy Music of them, and I like where they're headed. This is one song where it sort of makes sense to have three guitars and an alternate singer. Shows the passion, and gives each band member time to shine

I think the thing that helps the fact that I think this version is better than the one on the album is the fact that the production crew and the audio setup they use is almost studio level quality and the improvisations are a total blast. It gives the song more energy than the album version.
