I have the same grill but not the portable base. Love this grill and use it more than any other grill I have. Perfect size. Nice video!

Wish I saw this before I bought my recent grill. I had a similar experience with putting a Char-Griller together. Great design. They was missing one lock washer though.

Thanks for review of this. Looking at getting this but doing some mods. I’m a trucker and I already have a jumbo joe but it’s a pain in my ass to stay strapped down and this comes with a stand that folds so that’s a huge plus!! And a decent affordable price. My mod would be adding a detachment smoker box to the side if ya was wondering lol

Great video review. 2 years later, what's your thoughts. Is it worth getting now?

We absolutely love it 🔥! It works just as great as a full size grill but with the convenience to being able to transport it. The only issue we had was the dampers getting stuck when the grill was too hot. We made a small adjustment with the nuts 🔩 and that resolved the issue.

I have 3 akorn's, one large and two jr's. I think I need another grill and that fits the bill. Cheers from Ajax Ontario Canada.

What kinda chimney did yall use? I've seen one by the same brand (char griller) but it's a trigger release bottom.. THIS seems different and maybe more reliable in the long run..

We can't recall the brand. This chimney turned out not to be that great in the long run. We wouldn't recommend the brand we had. The trigger release from Char Griller is probably one of the better options.
