I just love fujis not because of their taste only but they are very productive too.
Planted in April 2021 and got 20+ large sized fruits. If we compare it with Reds and galas the NOF in Reds during second plantation year should not be more than 3-5 and in galas 5-8 in this size grade. And here in fujis, we successfully harvested 20+ fruits in the second years with large size.
Though we faced a lot of color issue in our orchards this year so we can take two more years to see its color performance. But in my opinion, this Fuji strain can easily replace Red Delicious in the north and east faced orchards in between 6000-8000 feet ASL in Himalayas.
Most interesting fact it's harvesting time is same as stripped ROYAL DELICIOUS...
