Karl Schulze, a.k.a. "King Karl”, has been rowing since the age of 10. Schulze won back-to-back gold medals in quadruple sculls at the Olympics Games in London 2012 & Rio 2016. After intense consideration, the 31-year-old has decided to compete again in the upcoming Tokyo 2020 Games. Already in the middle of his preparations he has one clear goal: To be the first German rower to win three gold medals.
