This was the first version I saw as a kid. In spite of its shortcomings I still really dig it! It mostly comes down to the suit, which is much more advanced than you would've seen in any other film at the time. Turbulent as it was, the collaboration between Baker and Rambaldi produced some wonderful facial animatronics. Kong's facial expressions are what makes this version for me.
C loin d être un grand film ces un remake raté ya rien dans ce film pas de dinosaures l histoire est modernisé et ces ce qui retire le côté poétique . Enfin juste un film amburgueur ont regardent ont oublies.
@@marcdelente2456 Comment n'y a-t-il rien ? Les gens sauvages du film sont parfaitement représentés. De plus, le combat entre le serpent géant et Kong est génial. Ce film dépeint très bien la rencontre d'un gorille royal avec la technologie dans le monde. Il était impossible de les voir dans le film de 1933. La période pendant laquelle le film a été tourné est une combinaison de l'ancien et du nouveau. Merci.

I definitely have to agree this King Kong 1976 is definitely ahead of its time but it brings so much powerful results in this epic legendary movie and you have to understand that this King Kong by far the scarier out of all the apes it delivers so epic and spectacular that you cannot ignore the process in this movie his presence what they did to build this 40 to 50 ft mechanic King Kong it's so unreal but at its point resilience and redemption hands down the 1976 King Kong is the best design the powerful mighty roar and everything else combined into it

bought this via streaming. very outdated dirty master. new 4k restoration coming? studiocanal 4k restored titles should be made available for purchase also via streaming (movie plus bonus materials). angel heart and basic instinct are two recent titles with outstanding 4k uhd restorations.
Heureusement que le grand Rick Backer a été la pour faire le gorille et encore Kong n'a pas été conçu comme un vrai primate. Le robot dans le film n'a pas pu faire un pas dvant l autre tout le mondes a la technique avait peurs de sfairent écrasés par la mécanique en plus il y avait des fuites d huiles enfin une calamité. Ont voi le robot quelques secondes et il a servi à la promo du film rien d autre . De plus ce remake raté a tout retiré les dinosaures la jungle préhistorique l histoire à été remi dans les années 70 tout le charme du film et la poésie ont disparu juste un serpent et le decort en carton pâte zéro a la question. Ce film a fait connaître 2 commediens qui ont faient une carrière Jessica Lange et Jeff bridjes sinon ce film de laurentis et guillermin est zéro jusqu' aux hélicoptères ultras modernes ne laissent aucune chances a Kong. Encore une une foi un ratage totale. Heureusement nous auront un passionné qui nous fera un grand remake en hommage à celui de 1933 de meriam c Cooper et Ernest shoedsack le grand Peter Jackson fou de l originale plus les nombreux clins d oeuils a l original.
Agree. Also a simple gigantic silverback gorilla just isn't scary imo. This 76 Kong was of it's own species. Like a humanoid Bigfoot / yeti. Much more scary and interesting. Also.practical effects win every time.
@@TboneTenEighties I've always really liked John Barry's score in this film. It is wondrous and epic. When Kong shows up and the camera tilts up into the jungle i still get a chill. I hated Jackson's Kong. I thought it was terribly cast. And to me it had no magic. Jack Black with his perpetual crazy screwed up face.
