Yeah it’s a great song. In a way, it’s almost like he had to channel that kind of experience or pain to build the song, and as a result it’s something that you can listen to while going through it to feel understood.

I disagree. They're equally as good. The album is so goddamn bleak and I love the samples. It feels like you're trapped out in a desert and you're starting to hallucinate.

Been watching this video for six years now. I remember when it was brand new. I was set to go see King Krule at Kings Theater in BK and was so stoked. Hadn't seen king krule since pitchfork 2012(?) when I was in high school. Show was scheduled for last week of march 2020. Guess we'll never know how it would've gone but at least I've got this video. Glad so many of you enjoy it as much as I do.
How did you record the sound on this? Youre so close to the action but all the levels are perfect. It has this raw concert sound quality to it without sounding too blownout or too artificial.

If you pay attention there’s a lot of people talking at the beginning but as the song goes on and on the people start to get more quiet showing you how dope king krule is and how he’s music is out of this world

Looking back on this video the bassist was anxious asf man I could see him reading Archie and then like wanting him to stop vibing and continue singing.
I just saw them perform this song live last night and there was just as much emotion as there was in this video. I’ve been watching this video pretty regularly over the last few months in anticipation for the show. Honestly, hearing this live brought me to tears. What a fucking beautiful group of musicians.

I went there with mates and my group was one of the last people to get in. It was so fucking manic and packed and I wore my Ooz shirt and white 95's which got fucked up but it was definitely worth it. Wish I copped the shirt they were selling though.
