This must have SNK's desperation attempt to get out of the hole. This animation is amazing plus ALL of my favorite characters returned. Athena's ultimate attack had me screaming "HOLY SHIT! THIS IS EPIC!"

Fun fact: When a KoF player play SF, he usually does decently well with his KoF skill. But when an SF player play KoF, he mostly gets slaughtered hard.

Gameplay wise KoF is much faster and button inputs have always been really strict so going from a faster pace and input heavy to a slower pace with favorable input times you can see why.

+BinaryDood I agree, but SF4 didn't need any help from KOF XIII to look like crap. 3rd Strike makes SF4 look like crap. SNK definitely makes the superior fighting games, but I will always acknowledge the unparalleled spritework in 3rd Strike. Truly a thing of beauty.

@jay4gamers1 Kyo, Iori and Takuma have alternates in this game. Slightly different super moves to each one and a few changes to their special moves. Any name in "red" text are DLC characters.

i did beat the story but my problem is how do i get a 100 story completion i seem to be missing a few scenes i have right now a 85% story completion who do i choose and what scenes do i choose to get the remaining 15% ?

supermon99 you have to choose a certain path ( scene ) and from there if you're give a 3 way choices either being on the noah sky , around the stadium or within the stadium for example choose the one you haven't explore and you should unlock some of the credit scene i have reach 90% or more on the story mode ! but i want Saiki so bad in my arcade mode !

Ryo GOT SO MANY DIFFERENCES from Ryu that set him apart from Ryu. First, he was actually having some characters. Not as bland as Ryu. Second of all, all of his moves are different from Ryu. His trademark 13-punch, his double kick, his desperation (Not the fireball one), his Karate Chop, and FOREMOST, HIS TRADEMARK BUDDHA FIST. If anything, while lack normal fireballs (his usual fireballs was close distance), he had all tools to punish the fireball character and his Karate Chop was the proof.

Damn, I thought GG and BB were the shit. Newsflash, self! YOU ARE WRONG! KOF all the way. I will never play another fighter series again! Favorite characters (and characters I'm best with): Kyo Kusanagi (specifically 2002 Kyo) Iori Yagami Nameless (2002 UM) Kula Diamond Leona Heidern Angel (2001, 2002 UM) Athena K' and that's about it. KOF IS THE SHIT!

@emaculatej650 About the dlc question, I doubt they will add anymore characters or actually make any REAL DLC cause the 3 EX characters aren't really DLC.. they are ALREADY on the game disc.. you're just paying for an "unlock key".. Real DLC is made down the road of the games life and later released with a patch so it's viewable to purchasers and non purchasers.. Without a patch, you would just have to lock the content from non purchasers.

Not to sound petty, but i'm a bit surprised that with Hwa Jai you left out his Dragon Back Breaker super during his drunken state, where he would land a kick right after breaking his opponent's back. Aside from that, great display on everyone's supers. Oh and Robert's lvl 3 NeoMax that you hate so much? Imma call that move "Swag Surfing" from now on, haha

here something funny i have to tell you ; i read that they were a verry funky bug or cheat that allows you to get the villains team just by choosing Ash 3 times so with the steam edition it is Impossible so i went over a bunch of website redownloading another KOF XIII thinking it was the no steam version and god i have been troll ! i will just enjoy the game how it is now and not trying to butt my head over my keyboard !

@jay4gamers1 I saved those 3 for last anyways. I was hoping they'd release dlc to use the bosses just for fun..

@jay4gamers1 doubt it. seeing how bad the multiplayer is that they need to patch it.. paying for DLC that's ALREADY on the disc.. I don't think they'll do anything more after their so called "patch" is released.. if ever.. I'd like to use the bosses in arcade and survival mode though...

In what way? It wrote SNK all the way. Those DM was there LONG before you could ever image. Only the Neo Max was new it's still nothing like SF slow-mo super.

Don't get me wrong, The new sprites are very beautiful, but what it lacks is the "Oomph" it had before. Like if you pause certain frames in the older series, like Garou Mark of the Wolves, you will see characters that get hit will have their sprite frame in certain frames their body parts messed up like the face or something, and , and that's why in Garou you will feel like you've hit them hard and all. And also about the hits' shiny impact effect is not very blending to the scene and to be honest not satisfying enough. And with art like this you would think it would be smoother. It's not. See Riaden at about before 6:35 when he points around. I don't know if you feel this but this is what I've got.
