It's hard to believe that I've seen this movie a bunch of times, it's been out for over 30 years and I JUST NOW found out that Gus Fring was in it.

This is a great, under appreciated movie with a lot of up and coming talent. Hard hitting and fast paced.

Lawrence's line meant something to me. My brother was incarcerated. It was hard to see how locked up.

That high pitched "I heard that!", tho

The subtle disdain and truth behind Frank asking "how come you never came to see me?" "of course"

i remember watching this with my boys back in the 90's... a blunt and a bottle of e&j... damn those moments.

Frank White is definitely one of the hardest gangsters to ever be put on film. I'd be terrified if I had to go up against him.

when i saw this movie in the '90s I liked it but I didn't realize how good it was, now I love it. And the supporting cast is one the most successful ever. There are the future Morpheus, Gus Frink, Horatio, Blade and Donny. Amazing.

I love how a potential Frank/Jimmy conflict was teased & then later resolved when the cops stormed the gang's hideout, leading to Frank fleeing, but not leaving Jimmy behind as he so easily could have.
